The Number Hunter: Part 1

"A number. I need a closer look." Yuma said as he push pass the herd of people's. "Coming through" He announce as Sakura quickly apologise to the people as she passed, trying to get to Yuma as Tori was trying her hardest to catch up to the pair. "Wait! Yuma! Sakura! " She called out to them

"Yuma. Goddamnit slow down!" Sakura call out to him. "Excuse me. I'm sorry". She caught up to him on the mall stair as Yuma focus was on something else. It was s person on a glider. Out of nowhere, the glider dive into the mall glass ceiling, shattering the glass as the figure landed on his feet.

Out of nowhere, Yuma accidentally bump into unknown man who was walking whilst eating a bucket of popcorn, (who was watching the event), making the bucket of popcorn drop to the floor. Suddenly time froze as Yuma fell hard on his butt as he let out a ouch. Everything and Everyone have stop moving, expect for Yuma,Astral, Sakura and Anubis

"What going on? Everything frozen" Yuma asked confused as Sakura help him up to his feet, as the duo looked around the frozen area.

"No. Time is frozen" Astral corrected him

"But how can that be?" Yuma asked again, confused

"I don't know, but I afraid to find out" Sakura told him. Out of nowhere, whistling can be heard. Both of them turn their glaze upward toward the top of the mall where the thug is

Mall top floor:

A unknown male, whistling a tune, was walking toward his target, follow by his robotic companion. He has light blue-grey eyes, pale skin and blonde hair that is curled up in a point with a dark green spiked front, also featuring dark green bangs. His attire - a black trench coat with a high collar over a grey shirt, a finger-less black glove on his right hand, and white pants with black boots. He also has a belt with two purple deck boxes for his cards

"Hey, what going on?" The thug asked confused at the event." What happening here?" He asked again as he look around, seeing that everyone expect from him and the unknown male was now frozen. "How come nobody moving?" He look at the unknown male. "So you're the one behind this?" He asked as he point his bat directly at him

"Such questions are irrelevant, little punk. What is relevant is what I do. And that hunt numbers"

"So you're some kind of accountant?" The thug asked the unknown male

"You thickheaded thug! Why don't I just demonstrate?" His robot companion that stand behind him, turn his head and raised it neck to survey the bottom floor of the mall

"Mmmh. Thi...this bonzo have no respect for robots" The robot scanned the fallen litterbot that the thug threw down." De...demonstrate all over the hot head" the robot replied with a mechanical stutter in it aggressive tone in it voice. But cower in fear as the Number Hunter look at the robot angrily from over his shoulder

The robot retraced it head and neck. "I.. I mean. If...If you want. Master Kite" the robot replied nervously to him

"Oh I want. Prepare yourself to duel, you lowlife thug!" The unknown male name was revealed to be Kite

""Duel? You serious?!" The thug asked the number hunter in front of him

"Oh yes. I'm alway serious, when it come to hunting Numbers" Kite replied

"Well.Then come and get it!" The thug commented as he glow with fuchsia energy, like the others who were posses by a number, revealing his number card. "I got one right here. I'm sure you got a few of your own number cards Kite." The thug said with a smirk as he drop his bat
