A Rekindling Flame

Chapter One

Shoto Todorokis POV

I was at USJ and just finished fighting a villain and was going back to join the others, when I saw a man with scarred skin and black hair in front of me. A villain. 

He didn't see me. I have to disable him before he helps the other villains fight I thought. I ran forward, but he must've sensed my presence because he turned, grabbing me and pinning me against a wall to where I was defenceless. 

He had a maniacs grin on his face, well until he actually saw me. His eyes widened and I felt his hand tremble. "Shoto." He said, before releasing me and running off, disappearing. 

I rubbed my neck, confused. Why did he let me go? And… Why did he know my name? The public shouldnt know me yet. After all, the sports festival hasn't happened yet. So how…? 

Whatever it was, I knew I had to figure out who this villain was. And figure out how he knew me and why he let me go.

Dabis POV

"Fuck. I knew I shouldn't have come." I muttered to myself, knowing how suspicious it was to let a hero in training go scratch free. " 'Stay away from the fighting' they said. 'Just observe and it'll be fine' they said. But no, i still just had to run into the ONE person I didn't want to run into." 

You may be wondering why I cared so much about meeting a first year at UA. Well, hes also Endeavor's youngest son. Why do I care? Because I was the oldest. 

Yeah yeah, me, Dabi, am Endeavor's oldest son. Or, was. It's not like anyone knows I'm alive. And in any case, Touya Todoroki has indeed been dead for ten years anyway. 

So yeah, I let a hero in training go. Well, the hero in training happened to be my brother, someone I didn't even know was attending UA but assumed so. Like Endeavor wouldn’t make him. It seems my old man hasn't changed one little bit after all.

Yeah I know its shorr, pff. Theyll be short like that, but Ill be posting multiple chapters when I update so- I just think it flows better this way.
