~No One's POV~
I had been spending over two hours explaining what the outside world looked like to the gladers who couldn't seem to stop wondering about everything. In the meantime, Thea had woken up and had went somewhere I didn't know since I was too preoccupied answering every one of the gladers's questions. I couldn't help myself but throw small but apparently not so discreet looks towards Newt since Minho kept smirking at me which was quite disturbing but what was giving me butterflies in my stomach was the fact that every time I would look at the blond, I would find him already staring at me and would look away each time I caught him, blushing a soft and adorable red which had me smiling like a fool.
Communication was a bit harder for me now that I had all my head back. I had always been socially awkward and becoming an assassin didn't really help since I became way too suspicious of each and every damn human being on this planet earth to even try and make friends with anyone. But now, I had a whole bunch of teenagers eagerly talking to me and assaulting me with conversations in all directions and I had a hard time following and not replying too coldly and falling back in my habits.
"Alright" Frypan said loud enough for everyone to hear as he clapped in his hands once or twice. "Time to eat" He announced and we all stood up and made our way to what was left of the kitchen and the tables so that we could all eat some well deserved food --which wasn't much considering half of the foods had burnt with the fire. I sat down with Minho and Chuck, feeling a little disappointed when Newt sat down with Fry but shrugged it off and started to eat.
"We need to convince as much people as we can to join us out of the maze tomorrow" Minho suddenly said as he leaned closer to me from across the table. I leaned a bit closer as well so that I could hear him better and nodded. "With everything you explained about outside the maze I don't think a lot of them will want to stay here but I know for a fact that some of them are supporting Gally in everything he says and thinks."
"Is it worth trying to convince them?" I whispered to him and he looked conflicted towards me.
"I'm not sure" He said with a sigh.
"We can't just go without trying" Chuck said, joining the conversation in a whisper as well. "I mean, we lived with them this whole time and their are just like the rest of us. Even Gally is. I think we should still try and make them come with us."
"You're right, buddy" I whispered and patted the boy's back and watched as a small smile spread itself on his face at the praise. "We'll try and convince them to come"
I got up from my seat and walked towards what acted as a trash can and threw away the bits of uneaten food before putting my plate as well as my fork in the basket on the side for this purpose. I was about about to walk back to my seat when I heard a bit of conversation that made my blood boil in a second. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to the table behind me, being the last table near the wall and looked at the person who had spoken.
"Tell me I heard you wrong" I said as I stood in front of Teresa who looked up at me in a startle.
"What are you talking about?" She asked innocently and I clenched my jaw.
"Stop playing dumb with me and tell me I didn't just hear you try to make my daughter believe you are her fucking mother" I shouted in fury, my face bright red as I watched her flinch and look around as all conversations had stopped and they were most certainly all looking at us.
"I don't know what you are getting angry for Tom, it's the t-truth" She said, seeming extremely nervous. "You just don't remember"
"I remember every single detail about Thea's mother and believe me you're not even half of the stunning woman she was" I said through gritted teeth and she gulped. "You don't even know my real name so stop pretending, you're just making yourself look even more pathetic than you already are"
