"What's stopping you?"

Lorenzo didn't get a chance to reply "Enzo, Maya" A small voice shouted.

I turned around to catch a little person running in our direction. Lucia looked so excited it made me actually smile. 

Her body bumped against my legs. I bent down and she wrapped her arms around me "You are dating him now?" Lucia spoke with a cheeky grin. Her front teeth were now growing. I smile back at her "No. He's dating me"

She chuckled, crunching her nose and brushing her hair off her face "So, he is the lucky one?"

I nodded "He is"

Lucia lowered her voice and whispered "I like you better than Valentina"

"So does your brother" I whispered back and winked at her before standing up. Lucia rushed over to Lorenzo and he picked her up. He kisses her cheeks and hugs her. Cute.

"Maya said you're lucky to be with her" Lucia snitched. I widen my eyes when she spoke and Lorenzo looked at me "She said that?"

That little snitch.

Lucia nodded and she winked back at me. She's a fast learner. I like it.

"Interesting" He replied before Lucia bombarded him with more questions "Where are your bags? You can't wear normal boring clothes to a wedding or can you?"

Your brother didn't give me a chance to pack anything so I may as well just wear a bedsheet as a dress.

"Lu, I'm a bit tired and I have to feed a very hungry person. So, I'll go see you once I take a nap, okay?"

Yes, baby boy has his priorities straight.

Lucia nodded and kissed his cheeks before jumping off his hold. "There's a big chocolate cake in the kitchen," She said and ran away. What if she falls?

I finally eat something. It was the best cake I've ever tasted. Oh my God, I love food.

"You weren't lying when you said you were hungry" Lorenzo spoke passing me a napkin. "What can I say? I love eating" I replied, taking the last piece on the plate.

"You don't say"

I looked around the kitchen, and surprisingly it was very quiet "Isn't it a bit too silent to be a wedding day?"

"Trust me, in a few more hours you are gonna be wishing it was this tranquil" His eyes traveling across the room. His demeanor changed completely when someone came in "I see the little scumbag came with you" A pitch voice spoke. I turned around. Valentina was a beautiful woman, I must admit, but God, her attitude wasn't.

"Are you talking about yourself, sweetheart?" I grinned. I sounded so sweet I wanted to throw up. She rolled her eyes at me and then turned her honey gaze to Lorenzo "Have you seen your father?"

I contained from rolling my eyes. She was so frustrating. "No" His voice was distant.

"He was looking for you" Valentina informed him. She started playing with the hem of her dress. "Okay" Lorenzo replied. "He's in the conference room with Liam, you should go there"
