I'll admit, of course I was purposely making L/n buy me a bunch of things at the festival. Most things I gave to Eri, since they were oversized stuffed animals, but that's beside the point.
Even though they were suppose to treat me today, I did feel a bit stupid making them spend all their money before tonight. They were very captivating as a person, if I must say. I mean.. yeah, they're an extremely attractive person. I guess the ears and tail just make it even better.. but they're aren't as much of a pain in my ass as I thought they were going to be.
They had such a calm aura, much easier to be around than Hizashi and Nemuri.. I couldn't help but admire them so much. The night seemed to be going great, I can feel myself get lost in our interactions when someone obviously drunk stumbled to our booth.
"Baby! Baby, is that you??"
L/n nearly choked on their drink as they whipped their head around so fast. Their ears immediately flattened as they stared at the upcoming drunk. "I knew I would find youuu~" They giggled and plopped into the booth next to me, shoving me over.
Do they know them? Maybe not. This person reeked of alcohol, so they must be confusing L/n with someone else. "Amari, what the fuck???" L/n whispered loudly and bared their fangs in a mini hiss at the person. Well that's new... I thought, admiring their teeth before moving my attention back to the drunk.
"Baby pleasee.. Please talk to me. You wouldn't answer my phone calls-"
"L/n, who is this?" I interrupted, shoving the person back so I wouldn't be so smushed up against the wall. L/n glanced between me and the drunk, trying to figure out how to explain.
"This-..This is my ex from back home. I'm just so confused, why the hell are they here" They explained aloud, mainly speaking to themself and not me.
"Who is this?? Cheating on me already?! Well ain't that a surprise. And you gave me a hard time.. HA!" The drunk backhanded me, causing me to flinch in order to dodge it. Their ex?
"Hey, listen. you're drunk, I'll call someone to take you home. Please excuse us" I explained, a bit irritated that they kept trying to square off with me. "Aizawa I'm so sorry, here" L/n dug into their bag and placed their bank card on the table, getting up and rushing to their ex.
"I'll handle them. I'm so, so sorry about this. Dinner is on me. Please excuse us" They apologized a million times, yanking the slobbering ex out of the restaurant. I sighed heavily and ran a hand through my hair, grabbing their card and put it in my pocket so I wouldn't forget it.
Rushing to pay for the meal on my card, that they had prepared and apologizing that we wouldn't be able to eat it, I rushed out of the restaurant to look for the two. I should let L/n handle it themselves, given the fact that they know the person.
But crazy drunk exes that come looking for you from another country does not sound like good news. I finally found them, L/n trying to drag their ex who stumbled to the floor in a sobbing mess.
"Please sweetie, I didn't mean it. You have to forgive me! You're a selfish asshole if you don't" They whimpered, clutching onto L/n's collar of their shirt and yanking them down as well. I can feel myself get pissed off with this situation, but as a hero. I must stay professional.
"Get off of me, Amari! I can't believe you came all the way out here looking for me, you creep!" L/n cried, trying to pry off the drunk's hand from their clothes. "No! I won't let you leave me!!" The drunk named Amari raised their fist, about to strike L/n in the head.
I shot my scarf out to wrap around their wrist, and yanked Amari away from L/n, watching them land hard on the concrete backwards. "Alright, that's enough!" I shouted and stepped onto Amari to pin them to the ground, erasing their quirk in case they try to do any funny business.
