"M-maiko.."
I turned around and saw Maiko staring at us. She was standing there the whole time.
"I-is that true?" Maiko asked. She's still in shocked. Wala akong magagawa. She already knew everything.
Seiji was just standing right next to me at mukhang di din niya alam ang gagawin niya. "Chad, tinatanong kita!" Maiko shouted.
"Oo. Totoo." I answer coldly. Wala naman na akong dapat itanggi.
"You are a fucking asshole! How dare you do that to her!" She shouted more.
Sinenyasan ko si Seiji na umalis muna at gusto ko makausap si Maiko nang kami lang dalawa. He left my unit at naiwan kami ni Maiko.
"Everything became clearer now. Napaka sama mo! You know you're the reason of her heart becoming weaker and weaker when you're around her pero wala kang ginagawa! I'm gonna let her know this at kamumuhian ka niya!" Lahat ng sinabi niya ay diretso tusok sa puso ko because it was all true. I just can't lose Hennessy again.
She was about to leave nang mag salita ako. "I'm not gonna do that if i were you." I don't want to do this but i have no choice. Ngayon pa ba na sinusugal ko ulit ang lahat? I can't bare to lose again.
"And who the hell are you para pigilan ako? Napaka walang hiya mo! How can you do this to her?" She looks at me with disgust as if ako lang ang may kagaguhan dito.
"Come on, we both know i'm not the only bad guy here." Again, i don't want to do this but she's leaving me no choice. "I-ikaw lang naman talaga! Sinisira mo siya—"
"Fugitive. You are hiding Hennessy's brother's criminal right? What's his name again? Oh Yuan yu, your boyfriend." I said to her. Nagulat siya and her tears starts to fall.
"H-how did you know that thing and how dare you use that against me!" She said. "I knew it. Hindi mo maitatanggi ito. She already knew that, Maiko. She already knew what you are doing to her and her family." She doesn't supposed to know these things.
Iyak lang siya ng iyak and she's looking at me. "Wala kang alam samin ni Yuan! I-i'm in love with him and you can't just—"
"So am i. I'm inlove with Hennessy more than the way you're inlove with Yuan yu. If you tell her what you heard, i'm gonna remind her what you did. If you're reason is your trying to save her, then you're wrong. You are saving no one. If you tell her about me, only God knows what might happen to her. Pwedeng lumala ang sitwasyon niya, sitwasyon ko, at makulong ka." I took a deep breath after saying all of that.
"Y-you are just trying to save yourself." And she left my unit. Ganoon nalang at napapikit ako para damahin lahat ng sakit. Paano nalang kung kay Hennessy na mismo mang galing ang lahat ng sinabi niya? I can't fucking take that.
Kung sabihin man niya kay Hennessy lahat, wala akong itatanggi.
Napahiga nalang ako and i blew out a deep sigh. I remember the day she knew everything. Nag faflashback lahat sa akin and it's still killing me. I don't want to be like Augustus yet i'm becoming someone I don't want myself to become. Kung matatanggap niya lang ako ay ako mismo ang mag sasabi sa kanya ng lahat. It's too risky i know.
It's crazy how love can make you do things you thought you wouldn't do.
