Where you're kept up-to-date! We've noticed that we're posting announcements this group might be interested here as well as our message board, so we thought we'd give them their own, official section!
Have info you'd like to go out to the group?
Email us your announcement at avadelauthors@gmail.com, and we'll consider posting it here. We don't want this to be a one-sided thing, and we'd love to help get exposure to the events you're interested in. However, please keep in mind that not every announcement will be accepted. As always, we want to publish helpful, well-written material.
What Kind of News Might be Posted Here
1. Open Invites
From our page and across the greater Wattpad world, if there's something that just about anyone could participate in, we might let you know here. This is stuff like giveaways, beta reading opportunities, interactive books, and more fun stuff like that.
2. Communities, Awards/Contests, and Book Clubs
We won't post every one, but if there is one that you have your fingers in and want to get more exposure to, we'll take a look at it. If we think it's something people here might be interested in, we'll publish your announcement.
Note, your announcement must be written up in paragraphs if you want us to consider posting it. A single line saying that your club exists isn't enough to warrant a chapter. (=
3. Resources You've Found Helpful
Got something to say about an editor who helped you out, a graphic shop that's mind-blowingly awesome, or some info book that you think that everyone else would benefit from? Email us your announcement, and we'll look into it. If we agree it's a quality resource and we like your announcement for it, we'll post it. Please note that we will not accept posts promoting your own graphic shop, reviewing resource, etc. This is to try to cut down on spam for everyone involved. (=
