It Started With a Vacation

Courtney:

Today is the day shayne finally graduates from college and I couldn't be more excited. He has worked so hard, pulled many all nighters and even has skipped out with hanging out with the group just to get his psych degree but I couldn't be more proud.

Since he can't actually be at his graduate ceremony I decided to surprise him with our very own smosh graduate ceremony and he has no idea. Which is the point of the surprise.

To get ready for the surprise without shayne being there to ruin it we asked a crew member to distract him while we all set this up.

"Everything set?" Ian asked

"Lets see, guests: check. Decorations: check. Everyone have there speeches ready?"

"Yup" they all said

Damien, Ian, Sarah and I are all the ones giving speeches, no one else wanted to but thats fine.

"I think we're set!" I said excitedly "Ian go get him tell him we have a meeting"

"Got it chief " then he left. I was so nervous but also excited to see his reaction. As I waited I stood by the door with his hat and gown.

Ian pov (only for a sec)

I went to go find shayne and found him with Ryan Todd in his office

" hey shayne" I said opening the door

"Hey, whats up?"

"Theres a meeting that we need you at"

"Now?"

"Yup, cmon"

We walked back to the room with Ryan Todd following behind

Shaynes pov 

I was talking to Ryan Todd when Ian came and got me for a meeting,  I didn't know we had one today. As I walk into the room I swear bunch of people and Courtney standing by the door with a smile 

"SURPRISE!!" They all yelled and Courtney hugged me 

"What is going on??" I say completely shocked as she hands me a cap and gown for me to put on. I look around walking up to the stage to see all my friends and some I didn't expect to be there, with Sarah on the stage with a mic.

"Welcome everyone to the Arizona state university (I think that's the college he went to) graduation of 2019!!" Sarah said (yes 2019 go with it) and everyone cheered

"What the?" I say still shocked as I sit in the chair next to damien 

"So today we are celebrating the one and only Shayne topp! Not only has he dedicated many hours to his college degree but he probably won't use it anyways! No but in all seriousness Shayns is really hard working between smosh, school and the Goldbergs, this man never had any time to do anything but still managed to get it done. We here at smosh are so proud of who he is and has become, even if he's an idiot sometimes, Shayne congratulations! Sarah said finishing.

As she left to sit down damien got up and started talking.

"Shayne here" he said waving in my direction looking at the crowd "has been my best friend for a long time and no better word to describe him as an idiot, this man guys, sometimes you just wanna role your eyes and shake your head at him, which we see a lot, but no matter who he is he's my best friend. As Sarah has said and will probably be said again, he's hard working but this man has been doing this for like a decade. This man is old! No I'm kidding, not about the decade thats legit true but the other part. Shayne has been so consistent and that's something I could've never done. I mean I dropped out of college after about 2 semesters haha. But in all seriousness shayne I love you and even if Courtney did win the title of best friend I still consider you one of mine."
