Chapter Eleven - Team SHDW Strikes

As everyone began to put Jaune's plan into action, Katooni and Petro along with Zatt and Ganodi sneaks into the Argus Military Base while Weiss enters the base under the ruse that she wants to return to her family. 

Petro: We're good to go. Good thing Maria is light. 

Ganodi: Let's hope we can find a ship that can fit all of us! 

With that, Katooni and Petro along with Zatt and Ganodi begin moving through the base discretely. They evade all the guards that come across their way. As they move through the base, Katooni senses a disturbance in the Force.

Katooni: Something's not right....we're not alone. 

Zatt: How bad? 

Katooni: It's not Jadus, but we should still be careful. 

As the Jedi moved through the base, Petro glances over to see a shadow moving away from them in a hurry. 

Petro: Looks like you were right. We're not the only ones sneaking into the base. 

It was clear that they were not the only ones sneaking into the base. They kept their guard up as they moved through the base. Soon enough, they came across a hanger. 

Petro: This looks promising. 

Katooni: The coast is clear. Let's get this open. 

The four Jedi then use the Force to open the hanger door. What they found was a Dynamic-class freighter stationed in the hanger. The Jedi were shocked as they recognized it. 

Petro: No way....

Ganodi: The Ebon Hawk!

Zatt: Whoa! That ship hasn't been seen for thousands of years! How did Cordovin get her hands on it?

Petro: It won't be hers for much longer. 

Katooni then proceeds to contact Ruby via comlink. 

Katooni: Ruby, this is Katooni. We found a ship that'll get us to Atlas. 

Ruby(Comlink): That's great! We'll wait for Blake to shut down the radar and we'll be good to go!

???: Now isn't this a surprise!

As the voice calls out to the Jedi, the Jedi turn to see Mordred and Deimos standing outside the hanger doors. Immediately, the Jedi ready their Lightsabers. 

Mordred: Hello, Katooni. How are you? 

Katooni: What are you doing here, Mordred? 

Mordred: I could ask you the same thing. But I know talking will get us nowhere. 

Petro: You got off lightly last time! This time you won't escape!

Mordred chuckled as he readied his Double Bladed Spear. Deimos smiled as he glanced over to Zatt and Ganodi. 

Deimos: What shall we do, Mordred?

Mordred: Have your fun, Deimos. I'm sure you and Phobos have been looking forward to this. Leave Katooni and Petro to me. 

Deimos: With pleasure. 

Without hesitation, Mordred began running away. Katooni and Petro began chasing after him, leaving Zatt and Ganodi to face Deimos. 

Deimos: It is so wonderful to see you two again. My brother and I have been looking forward to our next meeting. 

Ganodi: Can't say the feeling's mutual!

Zatt: What is your master's interest here?

Deimos: He has eyes and ears everywhere. He does not like it when pawns move against his will. We are here to cleanse this filth. 

Zatt and Ganodi were left disturbed by Deimos's words. They readied their Lightsabers as they assumed their stances. Deimos chuckled as Phobos's head popped out. 

Phobos: Is it time, brother?

Deimos: Yes, brother. Our patience shall be rewarded. 

As Zatt and Ganodi prepared to duel against Deimos and Phobos, Mordred began leading Katooni and Petro through the base. On the way there, several Atlas soldiers. 

Atlesian Soldier: Stop right there! 

Without hesitation, Mordred cut the Atlesian soldiers down with his spear. They were unable to react quickly as Mordred killed them. Katooni and Petro chased Mordred throughout the base. It wasn't long before the alarms began to blare. 

Petro: Crap! This is bad! 

As the Jedi chase after Mordred, he leads them to the outside of the base and onto the airfield. At that point, he stops. 

Katooni: There's no escape, Mordred. 

Despite being cornered, Mordred smiled as he readied his spear. 

Mordred: This is just the beginning. 

Meanwhile along the cliffside between the forest and the ocean, the rest of the group is contacted by Weiss via Ruby's scroll. 

Weiss(Scroll): Why is the radar still up?!

Ruby: We don't know, Blake isn't responding.

Oscar: What do we do?!

Yang: Keep the ship in one piece.

With that, Yang revved up her motorcycle and began driving to the radar. Meanwhile, Blake was traveling with Gungi and Byph to disable the radar. As they got near the radar, the group were ambushed by Grendel who slammed his fists on the ground, creating a mild shockwave. 

Grendel: There you are, Jedi! 

Gungi: <Grendel!>

Byph: Blake! Run! Get to the comms tower! We'll hold him off!

As Blake began running, Grendel lunged at her. However, Gungi used the Force to pull him away. Byph jumped in for an overhead slash, but Grendel grabbed Byph and slammed him to the ground. Before he could finish him off, Gungi used the Force to push him away. After that brief melee, Gungi and Byph stared down Grendel as he cracked his knuckles. 

Grendel: So you little Jedi wish to stand against me? Very well. I will break you, Jedi. 

In that moment, Gungi and Byph prepared to duel against Grendel. As Ruby and the others attempted to steal the airship to continue their journey to Atlas, the Kybuck Clan faced off against the members of Team SHDW. Mordred and the rest of Team SHDW kept their true intentions secret. The outcomes of these fights would decide the outcome of the mission.
