The child of Typhon

The Strange White Haired Girl.

David Jones was sitting in class barely listening to the teacher, he was staring at a pretty girl.

Lilly Jackson a cute girl with white hair that had blue streaks running through it.

He's wanted to ask her out for so long, but her friends always got in the way. Today would be different, Kelly was nowhere to be seen.

After class he got up and walked towards the girl of his dreams, he would ask her out and she would say yes, and then they would get married, and have two kids.

"Watch where you're going dweeb!" Kurt Bromand, a bully who had it out for him, interrupted his reverie.

"Sorry Kurt, I didn't mean to walk into you."

"You're gonna be sorry dweeb!" Kurt raised his fist to punch him.

"Kurt go hang a nerd up on the flag pole by his boxers." A sweet lilting voice stopped his pummeling, oh no.

"Fine Kelly but you gotta let me pound his face in some day." Kurt walked off, probably to do just what was asked of him.

"Hello, Davy, how's the kraken?" Kelly stood right in front of David and right between him and Lilly, who seemed to be distracted by a bird that landed on the window infront of her.

"Leave me alone Kelly, I just wanna talk to Lilly." So close, but she seemed to not notice him.

"Oh, I don't think so Davy, you are nowhere near the league required for her to even be out of your league. It's my job to keep creeps like you away from her."

David sighed and left to go to his next class, he might get a chance tomorrow.

The next class started and once again he was barely paying attention and staring at Lilly, when he heard the teacher announce they would have a partnered assignment, and the teacher was choosing the partners, oh goody.

The partners were announced one by one and but he and Lilly hadn't come up yet. "Lilly Jackson, and David Jones will be partnered together."

David felt like cheering, finally he would get the chance to talk to Lilly alone.

"Kelly Wenster and Kurt Bromand, are partnered together." And Kelly has to work with Kurt, ha.

Lilly raised her porcelain like hand.

"Yes Ms. Jackson?"

"Sir, you never told us what the assignment was."

Oh that's right he never said.

"Your assignment is on Greek mythology, choose a myth to go over, and because I know that so many of you will choose hercules, Kurt and Kelly get to do that one, all the rest of you had better choose a different hero, or other myth."

David raised his hand. "Sir when are the assignments due?"

The teacher looked in thought. "You are to turn these in at midterm. They will count for fifty percent of the grade."

Fifty percent? Great, at least he was working with the smartest student in the class.

After class they got out for the rest of the day, Lilly walked up to him and told him to meet her in the library, when he saw Kelly behind her staring at him murderously, he very quickly agreed.

In the library, Lilly asked him what myth he thinks they should go over.

"Um, Poseidon?" He couldn't remember much of the mythology.

"Okay, how about when he brought his girlfriend into Athena's temple to get it on, and got her cursed into a creature that would turn you to stone if you looked in her eyes?"
