It felt like I couldn't breathe. I collapsed back down against the sand, feeling heavy.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, mostly quiet. "I thought you said you would tell me everything," I thought in my head.

Dream didn't answer.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I repeated, screaming this time. He hesitated for a moment.

"BECAUSE I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO ACT LIKE THIS AND I DIDN'T NEED THAT IN MY LIFE!" He screamed back at me, standing up with fire in his eyes. I felt taken-aback. I slowly stood up, using Wilbur as support. I kept my wounded leg up and balanced on my right leg.

"You knew how important Alina was to me!" I stated, feeling tears develop in my eyes. Wilbur placed his left arm around my back, holding me steady. "You could've told me and I would have handled it myself." My voice was shaky, but at least I had a reason for it to be.

"I'm leaving," I said. "Goodbye Sapnap, Goodbye George."

I turned around, with Wilbur still supporting me, and walked to the car.

I cried the entire way home while Tubbo comforted me in the back.

"He's such an a**hole," I said drying my tears. "He doesn't even have the confidence to tell his own sister that her best friend died."

We pulled up into the driveway and walked into the house. I was kindly escorted to my bedroom by Wilbur.

"We will get through this together," He stated as he opened the door. His voice was particularly soft, but that wasn't what I noticed.

We.

It made me feel comfortable, like I belong. I hugged Wilbur, maneuvering my head trying not to get my tear ducts on his shirt. He put a hand on the back of my head, pushing my head into his chest more.

For a moment, I felt safe.

Nothing to worry about.

No cares in the world.

Just me and Wilbur.

I backed up from the embrace and opened my door. My room seemed so quiet, and scary. It seemed like the last place I wanted to be right now.

I looked up at Wilbur. "Can I stay in your room?" Wilbur looked into his room across the hall.

"Certainly, Bails," He said, ruffling my hair. I could feel blush start piling on my face. He walked into his room, setting up his bed. I stood in the hallway, looking in through his door.

"Thank you, Mr. Fluffy."
