As soon as I walked through the door my mother greeted me with a hug. "How was work?" She asked when she pulled away. I looked into her grey shining eyes. I couldn't disappoint her. "It was great!" I lied. "I can't wait until tomorrow night."
My Father gave me a nod. "Good, even if you aren't paid much I'm glad you have a job, before you know it you'll be moving out!" I gave him a half smile, I had to go to work tomorrow night. What else could I do?
I stretched out my arms letting out a fake yawn. "Well I better get some sleep for work tomorrow. Night or should I say morning." I said with a wink before running upstairs.

What else was I supposed to do? Disappoint my parents? No. It was just the look in my Mums eyes, she's getting older by the day and I'm scared of losing her. I will do this for her.
I lay back in my small single bed with my eyes open, I can't sleep.
Letting out a sigh I opened my bedside draw and picked out a sleeping tablet. Great. I threw it in my mouth, flinching at the bitter taste and swallowed. That should work.
I laid back down, this time closing my eyes, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
