Some answers, some questions

"Miss Adrika you and Mr. Coleman should go first. If we all show up at once maybe he take it as a threat."

"Shully is right. Mads lets go."

        I said and started walking towards the home. I couldn't wait any longer. I walked up to the door and knocked. An elderly man opened the door. He had baggy jeans, gray t shirt and a checkered shirt over it. He had a black baseball cap on. He had a beer bottle in his hand. Definitely didn't looked like a professor. He looked at me then Mads and said

"Why are you here Adrika?" I was shocked beyond my limits.

"You know me?" I asked. He nodded and said

"We have met." He opened the door wide as gesture to come in. "Call your friends as well." We all went inside.

"You wanna beer?" He asked us while we all sat around the small study room.

"Yah. I will probably need one." I said. Everyone else didn't wanted it. He passed me a chilled bottle and sat down on the table. I take a long gulp and said

"So when did you met me? I'm going through some amnesia." I said

"No need for lies, I know it worked. She woke up you. I know you aren't the princess I met. Last time she spit out this cheap beer the moment she put it in mouth." He said.

"What did you mean by she woke me?" I asked. My mind stopped working.

"A year back she was here. Out of nowhere, just on my doorstep. I wasn't sober, like always. I didn't wanted anything to do with city people. But she insisted I talk to her. Pleaded. I couldn't say no to those tears. She said I'm her only hope." He said. I could see he remembered her face.

"Hope? Of what?" Leo asked.

"I never asked. She said it was too personal." He said.

"What help did she wanted?" Emma asked.

"She asked me about mirror dimension. How it works. How my theory proves it's existence. I described her. Then she.. " Dr. Yen was cut by Leo.

"Wait.. I didn't get it.. What is a mirror dimension?"

"A reality which is with us from the beginning but beyond our reach." I said. They all looked at me.

"Mirror dimension is an alternate world which is happening simultaneously to our world. Everything is mirrored to each other in this two world. Adrika wanted her subconscious to waken the other one." Dr. Yen said.

"Is it even possible?" Emma asked.

"Extremely difficult. But possible." Dr. Yen said.

"How?" Emma asked again.

"You can't imagine how close we are to a mirror world. Like an atom length. Imagine holding a hand up and in the mirror world your  doppelganger did that too. If there wasn't a wall of space and time between us you could actually touch them. That close we actually are. Adrika felt a connection to that world. She said she could feel her doppelganger's thoughts, her emotions, her likes, dislikes. And she said she thought it was because she is Nature's daughter and so is her doppelganger. But now she wanted the other Adrika to wake up in her body after her death. It was only possible if she knows who the other one was and all her life story for a perfect chronology." Dr. Yen stopped to look at me then said in a very heavy voice. "Adrika found her doppelganger in that world."

"Was it supposed to be difficult?" Leo asked.

"Very. Because it's a mirror dimension doesn't mean the events will be the same. Characters will be. Not the story." He said.
