The loud music is deafening, I can feel the pulse of the base around me. The colorful lights flashed over the dancing crowd. The smell of sweet smelling tobacco and alcohol in the air.

Everyone is dancing and having a good time, except me.

It's my 25th birthday. I should be enjoying myself but this isn't my type of environment. I can't believe my best friend dragged me out here against my will knowing that.

I gave her a look and sigh as I sipped my drink.
She danced in front of me.

I stood near the bar avoiding the moving crowd and of course to have access to as much alcohol as needed.

The flashing lights and pulsing base spread through the club.

All I wanted was a small gathering at my mom's house. I only came down here to visit her in the first place but Arlena insisted to go out. But How can I say no to my long time friend. I haven't seen her since I moved out of my hometown.

"Come on girl, come dance with me!" Arlena grab my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor.

I throwback the last of my mixed drink.

"Mmmh—Ahh okay okay!" I practically almost choked on the burning sensation

Why not? she's taking me out of my comfort zone anyway, I'm already here and I can feel the alcohol slowly making me loose.

I'm not a good dancer at all. So I mostly sway my hips and bop my head.

Her short blonde hair bounced around her as she danced. Most of the men and some women in the club radiated towards her provocative dance moves.

It makes sense she always did attract most men and today she wore an even more revealing outfit than usual.

People start to surround us... well mostly her but that doesn't stop the guys from trying to grab my hips and dance with me.

"Ugh"
I stepped to the side, couldn't help my discomfort.

I pulled away and tried to make my way out of the circle of people but being a short girl with little to no muscles it was a bit of a challenge. Men looked at me weird as I made a face for them to move.

I made my way out of the crowd.
Finally I'm free and able to breathe a bit.

I need to go to the bathroom and fix myself I'm sure my lipstick is smudge.

I walk to the bathroom, bumping slightly into others.

The bathroom is surprisingly clean besides a few napkins on the floor next to the filled trash can. The lights are a bit dim but it wasn't an issue.

The sound of a flushing toilet and the unlocking of a bathroom stall came from behind me as I examined myself in the mirror.

"Nice black wedges." The girl complimented me and began to wash her hands.

"Aww thank you!" I smiled at her for the compliment.

Even though these are a bit uncomfortable, it definitely completed my outfit perfectly.

Especially my black skirt with the slit showing my thigh.

I checked my loose curly brown hair and fixed it out of my face it went down to the middle of my back. I wish I brought a hair tie with me it's getting a bit hot in here. My black cropped denim jacket isn't making it any better. I should've never worn it.

This burgundy shirt would've been perfect by itself but it's a bit too revealing with the low neckline. This whole outfit was Arlena idea but she sorta knows my taste so it isn't that bad.
