Chapter 16

"Hun, don't worry, I am here for you, I'll go change quickly get Wanda and some snacks and we will be right back." she told me with a smile, I couldn't even say a word that she was already out the door, I just laughed at myself, I really had amazing friends. Then someone got me out of my thoughts as I saw a tall figure waiting at the door,

"Can I come in?" Steve asked a bit shy,

"Yeah sure." I smiled at him, and he entered carefully as if the ground was glass and ready to break and sat at the end of my bed.

"I was worried when I didn't see you in your hospital room this morning." he laughs a bit nervously,

"Oh yeah sorry about that Tony brought me here, to which I am so thankful for because the hospital bed is really not comfortable." I tell him laughing a bit and I don't know why but I felt like his jaw clenched a bit when I mentioned Tony,

"It's fine, the most important thing is that you are okay now, I was really worried about you, and I hope you liked the flowers." he said yet again shyly and I felt my blood rising to my cheeks,

"They were really lovely, thank you." I tell him smiling,

"I don't want to take too much of your resting time so I will go, but let me know if you need anything okay? I am always here for you." he tell me scratching the back of his neck, and smiled at me, I nodded and muttered a small thank you, then he walked out the door.

"Hey babes I am back." said Nat entering in her pyjamas, some 5 minutes after Steve left, and in entered Wanda in her pyjamas too and Peter.

"Hi guys!" I tell them, as Wanda and Peter came and gave me a quick hug,

"Yeah Peter insisted on coming so.." Nat said rolling her eyes playfully,

"Oh it's fine, Peter, thanks for coming and joining my very first Netflix time." I tell him and he smiled proudly,

"I had to be here for such a big step." he said smiling and sitting on the couch I have near my bed, and Wanda and Nat both sitting next to me, one on each of my sides.

"Where is Aly?" I asked Nat, I couldn't wait to see my little sister,

"I left her at the day care, the nurses said you couldn't make too much efforts and holding her would be too much, but I will bring her over tonight if you want." she tells me a sympathetic look on her face, to which I just nodded, I missed Aly so much.

"So what are we watching?" asked Peter, now completely laying down on my couch with his Iron Man blanky over him.

"I was thinking of watching Bridgerton." said Nat a smirk on her face, I looked at her and then at Wanda who was smiling and saw Peter mutter a small 'yessss'.

"What? What is Bridgerton?" I asked, a bit confused,

"Just the best show ever now, with so many good looking guys." Wanda tells me an excited smile on her face. Well let's watch it then.

-------------------after the first 10 minutes of the first episode-----------

"Okay so Anthony, I kinda hot, I mean playing the overprotective old brother like that is kinda wow, I like him." I told them and they just laughed at me,

"You just wait and see." Peter said eating a cookie, 

"Yeah, I like the duke better." said Wanda, 

"I don't know you see, there's something off about him, I do love Daphne's dress tho." I said sparkles in my eyes.

" I like Benedict." said Nat not taking her eyes off the screen and putting a handful of popcorn in her mouth,

----------after a while-----------

"OH NO HE DID NOT!" I said screaming at the TV,

"Yes he did." said Peter laughing at me,

"But Nigel is so, how to put it nicely, so not her type, or anyone's type besides his mother probably." I tell them, making them laugh,

"You just wait until we see his mother." Wanda said,

"We see his mother?" I asked, 

"Shhhh now is the best part." said Nat and just then Daphne hits Nigel and that's when I was sold on the whole show.

"Yassss, oh my god he deserved it so much, I am so happy she did that!" I tell them and they laugh with me, we watched the rest and I felt my phone buzz a couple of times, I took it and looked at the screen I had messages from Tony,

Tony: Hey, how are you feeling today?

Tony: I heard Fury came to see you, hope you didn't get in trouble because of me.

Me: I am feeling good, still really out of energy and tired but good, and don't worry, uncle nick was just worried nothing else,

Tony: Okay I see, good then wouldn't want you to get in trouble, well are you doing anything today?

Me: Oh that's sweet, and yeah I have, Nat, Wanda and Peter here with me we are watching Bridgerton.

Tony: Oh I see, well if you need anything let me know...

Me: If you want to pass by you're more than welcome. (:

Tony: No it's okay, I will text you later then, see you P

Me: P?

Tony: Sorry, it was a typo, see you

Me: (:

With that I just locked my phone and gave my full concentration back to the now shirtless duke of Hastings, he wasn't that bad after all. I smiled at myself and continued to watch the show, I looked around and was glad to see those people around me, and know I could count on every single one of them. We were a family.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sorryyyy, it was a boring chapter, but at the same time I was wondering if you watched Bridgerton too? Did you like it? I loved it I watched the whole thing in 48 hours lol.
