Josh: “I need to talk to you.”
You: *rolling your eyes* “Where’s Charli?”
Josh: “Home, I’d guess. I’m not interested in Charli. We always planned to come to this together... remember?”
He put his arm around you spilling his drink on your shirt a little as you tried to casually put a little space between your bodies. Jaden saw what was happening from several feet away and handed Mads his cup, fully intent on storming over but you nodded to him that you were okay.
Josh: “I just want to fix this.”
You: “Look Josh, I’m just not interested in doing that.”
Josh: “Who is he?”
You pulled his arm off of your shoulder and explained: “It’s not about anyone else. We weren’t good for each other.”
Josh: “Because you didn’t give me a chance to really make you happy. If there’s no one else then can’t we try again?”
You: “Maybe someday we can be friends.”
*MADS’ POV*
She and Jaden were sitting next to Cooper and Sab, just talking about what the boys were going to do after graduation.

Sab: “I can’t believe you guys are done and we are just stuck here for 3 more years.”
Mads: “Well, J is staying in town and working on his music for a while so we will still see each other lots.”
Jaden: “What are you doing after graduation, Coop?”
Jaden opened his arms as Mads nestled into him while they listened to Cooper talk about how he didn’t have a clue what he was going to do other than get a job.
