When Mama Adele left us, Kyrine announced that she'll be switching off the lights. I switched on my lampshade placed atop the shelves sa uluhan ko. It was given to me by an old fortune-teller whose peculiar and torn canopy shop was located under the overpass. Hinulaan niya ako tapos sabi niya ay dalhin ko raw iyon dahil ito raw ang magiging gabay ko sa paghahanap. She was so serious but then she suddenly added that I looked so poor I couldn't afford even a flashlight, so she just gave me that. Noong una nga ay akala hindi na niya magagamit iyon at mapupundi na dahil ang dim ng ilaw no'ng fairy lights sa loob pero pagdating ko rito sa Abseiles, napansin kong bigla na lamang tumingkad ang ilaw nito. I tried opening and destroying it to check if it's battery-operated but I didn't find any nor couldn't even open it. Seeing it now, it looks... brighter.
Napailing na lamang ako at nahiga na saka niyakap ang white knitted teddy bear ko na binigay ni Kuya Vinzi at pinangalanan kong Coelho na sundo sa pangalan ng paborito kong mang-aakda na si Paulo Coelho.

I made the sign of the cross and prayed. If there's one thing that I haven't changed in those five years of staying in Abseiles and here in Hotel Grimm, that's my faith in God. Lalo lamang iyong lumalim nang makilala ko si Lady Incha. I would often join her while praying before leaving the penthouse to have our dinner downstairs. Odd things have happened in my past, but I am still grateful for His gift of second life and I will never forget to give Him thanks everyday.
PAG-RING NG ALARM clock ko ay walang patumpik-tumpik na bumangon agad ako at nag-inat. I took a bath and hurried to our kitchen to prepare our breakfast. Sina Kuya Nolan at Ate Honey ay sumasabay sa amin sa pagkain. I prepare rice oftentimes, lalo na para kay Lulu kasi nagbabaon siya, e. I make cute bento boxes for her everyday. Mama Adele usually serves continental breakfast for the other staff and for our bosses at the penthouse. Ibig sabihin, light lang ang hinahanda niya na mostly baked goods and pastries for breakfast o 'di kaya cereals and fruits with coffee na naka-buffet style. Ganoon kagaling ang Mama Adele ko at siyempre proud ampon ako!
Today is Saturday kaya hindi ako gagawa ng bento box for Lulu kasi walang pasok. I just made my version of toasted and omelette bread in one. Tinanggalan ko ng gitna ang mga slice bread bago ko sila sinalang sa frying pan. Ibinuhos ko naman ang omelette mixture ko sa gitna no'n, sa bahaging tinanggalan ko. I flipped the bread when the omelette was already cooked to toast the other side. Nagluto rin ako ng sausage saka hinanda ko na ang coffee maker at fresh milk kasi fresh milk ang iniinom ni Lulu. Maya-maya pa ay dumating na sina Kuya Nolan at Ate Honey saka nagising na rin sina Kyrine at Lulu kaya nagsalo-salo na kami sa agahan. Hindi namin maiwasang hindi pag-usapan ang mga pagbabago sa Hotel Grimm.
"Alam niyo magaling talaga si Master Thirdy sa lahat ng mga ginagawa niya," panimula ni Kuya Nolan.
"Bakit naman po?" tanong ko matapos kagatan ang sausage na nakatusok sa tinidor ko.
