Chapter Twelve

I woke up to Ellie crawling on my I opened my eyes and her hair was all messed up and she had a big smile on her face.
"Hey baby" I smiled at her she sticked her tongue out
"I love when she does that it's adorable" kol rubbed his eyes, Ellie started mumbling words
He picked her up making her sit on his stomach "say k-o-l" he pronounced his name slow
So we're all having a competition to see who's name she'll says first and we made bets Rebekah, Elijah and ale bet she would say my name, klaus and kol bet she'll say Kols.
"You really think she'll say your name first" I laughed, sitting up
"Yes I do my name is the easiest to say" he explained
I scoffed "what about ales" he ignored me and just keep saying his name to Ellie

I was currently at the park with Ellie and ale I wanted to spend time with them.
"Are we goin-" my phone began to ring and I looked it said unknown
"Hello" I put it on speaker
"Hey Avaree" I recognized that voice
"Vic" I looked at ale
"I wanted to call and check up on you guys I guess" her voice cracked
"We're fine" I felt a tear fall down my face "Vic when are you coming back"
It fell silent "I'm not coming back Ava I've had this guilt feeling ever since I left so I thought maybe if I call and say goodbye I'll feel better" she chuckled
"But what about Ellie" I cried "she needs a mom" she laughed
"That's why your with her Ava you'll be a better mom for her" I handed the phone to ale "I just called to say goodbye to my sister and brother"
"Your making a big mistake Ellie will hate you when she gets older" ale yelled
"Don't tell her about me" I rolled my eyes
"But your her mom" ale continue to yell
"No I'm not. I'm just a stranger. Goodbye Alejandro and Avaree take care of yourself" with that she hung up
"Let's go eat" I just wanted to forget what Vic just said. How could someone just not care about there own kid.

We were at the grill eating dinner ale sat in front of me and Ellie on my side
"So you going to tell Ellie about Vic" ale questioned, should I? she clearly doesn't want anything to do with her
"I'm not sure yet" I smiled at Ellie
"Hey Ale let's play pool" we saw Jeremy walking up, ale hasn't really hung out with him since his always with klaus, Elijah or kol.
He looked at me and I nodded then he got up and left. I sat their feeding Ellie food when I felt eyes on my I looked up and saw a man looking at me he waved once we made eye contact.
He started walking over "hi I'm Kai" he reached for my hand
Got to say his pretty cute
"Avaree" I shook his hand
"Well isn't she just cute" he looked at Ellie
I just nodded "I'd love to keep this conversation going but I have to get her home it's late" I explained
"Oh of course; can we met here again tomorrow" he smirked
"Yea sure" I chuckled
I walked over to ale "ale you ready" I asked
Jeremy smiled at me
"Yea. I'll talk to you later jer" they did there hand shake and we left

I was rocking Ellie is the living room trying to put her to sleep
"She won't stop crying huh"I saw Rebekah walk in sitting by me
"I don't know what's wrong she showered and ate by this time she should be tired" I was on the verge of crying because I tried everything
She notice"Here maybe she wants auntie bekah"I handed her Ellie
Ellie kinda stopped crying
"Your better then me at this" I chuckled
Ellie started mumbling "kol" I looked at Rebekah, we both got excited
We both screamed and the boys ran into the room
"What happened"Elijah asked looking around seeing if anyone hurts
"Ellie just said her first word" Rebekah smiled
"Bloody hell" klaus put his hand on his head "that's why you screamed" he groaned
"What did she say"kol asked walking to Ellie
Ellie started mumbling again "kol"
"Well looks like miss Ellie has spoken" Elijah said
Kol picked her up throwing her in the air catching her
"Well looks like I'm her favorite mikaelson" kol smirked at his siblings
"She's not even 1 yet so don't get to confident brother" klaus smirked

We walked to Kols room to lay down and he still had Ellie, trying to get her to say his name again
"I can't believe she said your name first" I laughed pulling the blanket over us
I shrugged his shoulders "you must be doing a bad job" he laughed but I frowned
Was I? Do I not spend a lot of time with her. Kol noticed I wasn't laughing
"I was joking love" he kissed my forehead "now go to bed we're going to the carnival tomorrow remember" I totally forgot
"I told someone I would met them at the grill tomorrow is it okay if they come"I looked up at him
"What's her name"he smiled at me
"Well his name is Kai and he seems nice" kol frowned once I said it was a guy
"I don't know it's supposed to be just us" he was making up an excuse I just nodded
I closed my eye "all the Mikaelsons at a carnival what could go wrong" I laughed
He chucked "good night darling" he kissed my forehead again and turned to Ellie "goodnight littlest darling" kiss her head
I love when he does that he treats Ellie so good

We were all getting ready to go to the carnival.
"Okay I'm taking ale, Ava and Ellie in my car" kol told klaus
"Bloody hell we know kol you told us a thousands times" Rebekah groaned
I laughed and went to the car buckling Ellie in her car seat
"Kol" she mumbled, kol looked back and smiled
I forced a smile, I was kinda jealous that she keeps saying Kols name like I'm raising her I've been here all her life and kol just came a couple months ago.

I was walking with Kol and Ellie around the carnival. Ale went with Jeremy,Rebekah ran to Matt, Elijah was with klaus looking around.
"Let's go find ale" I said to Kol, he nodded
"Well hello Ashley" I turned and I saw Kai
I laughed "it's Avaree" kol grabbed my hand interlocking our finger
"manners I'm Kai" he turned to Kol trying to shake his hand but Kol denied
he pushed his cotton candy bag toward me "cotton candy" I laughed, he was weird but funny at the same time
"No thank you" I pushed his bag away, kol was clenching his jaw and holding my hand tight
"So your the dad of this little potato" he asked kol, a potato
Kol let go of my hand and pulled Ellie's stroller away from Kai. Why is he so jealous? Wait dad.
"Yea and I'd appreciate it if your not in her face" he growled,
"Umm Kai I'll talk to you later I have to go find my brother" I said grabbing Kols arm
"Bye Avarice" he waved, my name ain't that hard to remember
We finally were away from Kai and kol pulled his arm out of my hand
"Who was that" he glared at me, clenching his jaw again
I rolled my eyes "that's who I met yesterday" I explained
We started walking looking for ale
"I don't want you seeing him no more" he spoke braking the silence
I frowned my eyebrows "why I'm making new friends" I was happy that I made a new friend even if he was weird
"His weird and he can't even remember your name" kol yelled grabbing people's attention
"Stop kol I don't want to cause a seen" I took Ellie's stroller from him and started walking away

me" his vampire face was out, I flinched
Next thing you know kol was being thrown away from us, I looked and it was Damon.
"You will not talk to her like that" Damon growled
"This is none of you business" kol grabbed Damon's neck
"If it involves Avaree then it is my business" Damon stated glaring at kol
I walked over to them grabbing Kols hand making him let Damon go
"The both of you stop" I glanced between them
"Well if you would just listen to me then there won't be a problem" kol rolled his eyes
"Kol just because we're together doesn't mean you control my life" I was now turned to him "Damon can you go find ale we're leaving"
Damon nodded and walked away
"I'm not ready to leave yet" he said grabbing the keys from the back of Ellie's stroller
"Well I am so bye" I tried walking away but Kol grabbed my arm
"Your not walking home with Ellie" kol tried to take Ellie's stroller
I pulled the stroller closer to me "you can't tell me what or what not to do with Ellie" I yelled at him
Damon walked back with ale
"Your not taking Ellie" my eyes widen when I felt Kols hand gripped my arm hard for a fact leaving a bruise
"I'm Ellies parent not you kol" I pulled my arm away and walked to ale
"Let's go home" ale looked at kol shocked because his never seen kol like that
"You want me to take you home" Damon asked
I shook my head "I want to clear my head but thank you Damon" I kissed his cheek and he walked away
We exited the carnival and started making our way to our house
"Is kol always like that" ale questioned, i haven't seen kol like that since I yelled at him at my birthday party
"No" I said quite but yet he still heard it
We saw a car pull up beside us and rolled down the window
"You need a ride AVaReE" I saw Kai and he some what said my name right, I kinda wanted a ride now
I looked at ale and he nodded
"Sure" I opened the door for ale and set Ellie on his lap and hopped in front
He started driving "you look sad" he blurted out making me laughed
"Is it that obvious" he shrugged his shoulders and looked at ale
"Hi I'm Kai" he stuck his out
Ale shook his hand "Alejandro"
We arrived at our house and I got out and grabbed Ellie and ale hopped out and walked inside
"Thank you Kai" I smiled closing my door
He rolled down his window "I love doing that" what was so special about rolling a window down "but if you need me I'm here" he smirked and drove off
I walked inside and saw ale already laying on the couch
"I do love the Mikaelsons house but oh I do love to be home" he chuckled stretching
"I'm going to go take Ellie a shower then get ready for bed okay" I walked over to the door locking it "don't answer the door for anyone" I walked up stairs
I was done showering and I was just laying with Ellie and she was crying.
"Ellie what's wrong"I rocked her back and forth patting her back
She started mumbling words again "kol" she cried, that broke my heart
"it's going to be okay Ellie" I started tearing up
She finally fell asleep but now I was trying to go to sleep. I haven't slept by myself in like 3 months I always had kol and it felt weird he wasn't here.
