Lunch day 2

"Sending a cruel message to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying it to their face," Counselor blackwood said the next day at lunch "Now I'm not gonna name names but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying after some kids online made fun of his facial deformity" 

Everyone around us started whispering about Eli who hid his lip. 

"Eli" I whispered "don't listen to them, they are mean and insecure they make fun of you to make themselves feel better" he nodded at me "they're just jealous that they can't be as awesome as you," I said he grinned at me. 

"if you are sick of being bullied my karate dojo is looking for new students," Miguel said to Eli 

"Ohhhhhhhh so that's what you've been doing," I said I think he forgot I was there because he looked scared 

"Olivia please don't tell mom she'll kill me" 

I put my finger on my chin and pretended to think "Well big brother if you let me join then I will consider not telling mom" 

He nodded "yes, yes anything just don't tell her" 

I laughed "and I could get you all discounts," Miguel said 

"wait how are you paying for this?" I asked 

"it's free for me and I'll make sure it is for you too" I smiled 

"you should join with us," I said to Eli 

"yeah right" Demitri cut in "ya hear that Eli a little Karate chopping and your gonna kick some major ass" I glared at him 

"come on Eli do it for me" I pleaded giving him puppy dog eyes "please, please, please"

He laughed at me "Alright Olivia I'll try it" 

"Really" I exclaimed giving him a huge hug "thank you" he chuckled a bit 

"also are all of us going to the Halloween dance tonight," I asked 

"no absolutely not," Eli said 

I sighed "Eli do not make me plead with you again" 

"I would go but I don't have a costume" I smiled at him 

"Ok we then we are getting your costume after school and I will not take no for an answer," I said 

He agreed and smiled I leaned into Miguel and drank my lemonade suddenly feeling very tired.

I walked with Eli to get out costumes after school hanging out with him for the second day in a row. I liked him so much. 

"Can I have a piggy-back ride?" I asked 

"Fine Olivia," he said laughing 

I jumped onto his back wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He continued to walk down the street and set me down when we got to the door of Spirit Halloween. 

"ok so we can do separate things or a group costume," I said to Eli 

"well, it depends do you want to go as a plastic surgeon with me?" he asked 

"yes plastic surgeon it is" I smiled and pulled down the costumes

We paid and walked out of the store we started to walk back to the parking lot where my car was and I realized it was gone. 

"shit" I yelled "Miguel must have taken the car" 

"I can call my mom she's right around the corner," Eli said quietly
