welcoming; behaving in a polite or friendly way to a new arrival

i guess you could say that was you

the second i became part of something

you made me feel welcomed

you made me feel like i'm more than my own opinion on myself

that my opinion can be warped just by the kindness of your words

i mean sure your words had a brutality to them

but it didn't cause me pain

it was out of the part of you that wanted me to love myself the way you loved me

now, it's exactly the same

you continue your kind words with a brutal twist

and my opinion has changed more than you know

and it's all because of you
