A smile bloomed on Lisa's lips as she tried not to laugh, sitting next to Bill, a few tables higher than her usual seat. Betsy had looked at her in a funny way when she entered the classroom with him and went in front of her, just smiling weakly and waving her hand.

Bill was tickling her while she was trying to pay attention to what the teacher was saying, but the tiger could be very distracting.

She grabbed his hand and the tiger laughed.

"Stop, you know I have to focus in this class," she whispered. "It's hard."

Not that it mattered to the tiger, they were only a few weeks into the semester and he already felt lost, so it wasn't important anymore. He was only there not to get detention.

"I don't care."

Lisa sighed and let his hand go to tie her hair up, as it was starting to go into her eyes.

"I know you don't."

Bill chuckled, his deep voice making it sound like a growl and at the same time, the bell rang. Lisa sighed and gathered her stuff while the tiger was already up and waiting for her.

"Finally ! I'm so tired I could sleep for two days straight."

She then stood up and started to make her way towards the exit of the classroom, alongside with Bill. His arm was around her shoulders, it had become usual lately.

"Do you want to get a snack ? This could help you get a little boost. You could also watch the drama club practice !"

He seemed really excited but Lisa wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying. Maybe because she focused on not falling, or avoiding the other students in the corridors.

"Yeah," she still agreed, "why not."

She was hoping she would get to see this wolf. She wouldn't admit it, but she was interested in him, not in a romantic way though. She wanted to know what made him act that way, the day they met.

They went to the cafeteria together and Lisa was waiting in the line, Bill a few feets behind her.

She streched her arm and stood on her toes to reach her food but before she could, a big and hairy hand took it. It handed it back to her but she was already upset.

"Here you go," a deep voice said.

She turned to face him, still focused on the opportunity of doing things by herself she just lost.

"I'm still capable of getting my own food, thank you."

The voice laughed.

"I know that. I have to talk to you."

It was Louis the red deer.

Rather a short chapter. I must say I am kind of ashamed of myself.

I really like Louis, maybe because he's a bad boy, or because he's funny and has a dramatic backstory. I don't really know.

Also, some of you may not understand why she is upset someone helped her reach her food. She's constantly underestimated because she's considered a herbivore, with no special capacity, so people assume she is rather weak and that she often needs help which she dislikes. She likes to be independent and being helped all the time isn't needed.

Hope this cleared things out ! <3
