I watch as Jacob walks up to us, 2 hours later, with Bella in his arms.

He puts her down and she rushes to hug Edward.

"You should go before the storm hits" Bella tells Jacob and i feel my wolf stir at the thought of being away from him now that i'm pregnant.

"Actually i'm staying" He says and i look at him confused "You'll need my connection to the pack to keep tabs on what's going on" He says and we all look at him, even more confused

"You do know that Kate is part of the pack, don't you?" Bella asks him

"It doesn't matter, he can stay" I say as i hold his hand, taking him inside the tent where we both sit, close together in the far corner, away from Bella and Edward

Another 3 hours later and i watch as the clouds start to turn grey and snow starts to blow in all sorts of directions.

I get back in the tent, from looking out of the door, and i see Bella sitting under the thin blanket, freezing.

I walk over to her, silently and i wrap my arms around my sister, my heat making her warm up almost instantly.

"I should have chosen a spot further down the mountain" Edward says as he watches her relax into my side.

"It's fine, i don't mind her hugging me, we used to do it as kids, what's the difference" I say with a trace of a smile on my lips.

I look up as Jacob opens the door to the adjoining pod of the tent and he walks into the main one.

"Are you ok?" He asks me as he sees me hugging Bella and i nod

"Why wouldn't she be ok?" Bella asks him

"It's just the cold isn't good for th-"

"Me, the cold isn't good for me" I say as i glare at Jacob

"Wait" Bella says as she sits up "What's going on?" She asks and i sigh

"Great, thanks Jake" I say

"You're welcome" He says back and i can't be mad at him as i smile.

"No seriously" Bella says

"Bella... I'm pregnant" I say to her and she looks at me, shocked to say the least.

"What?" She asks, breathing out "But you've only been together for..."

"- 5 months" I say for her as i sigh "Being a wolf changes a lot of things, mainly that you shift and you get angry more often, but mostly that when you meet your mate your first instinct is to strengthen the mate bond and then reproduce, it's like nothing a human feels when they get married it intensifies a lot more" I explain why Jacob comes and sits behind me, putting a hand on my shoulder

"How far along are you?" She asks me

"I'm about 4 weeks as far as the pack doctor is concerned" I say

"Prom....." Bella says and i blush

"Something like that" I admit

After going with Jacob the next morning to hunt for some food, we both walk back up the mountain

"-It would have to be when you agreed to marry me" Edward says as Jacob and i come to a stop.

"You're marrying him?" I ask her as i look at her, upset "And you criticized me for moving to fast with Jacob" I say as i turn around and begin to walk down the hill.

"No, Kate!" Bella shouts as she rushes after me

"No, Bella, i'm done i've put up with your bullshit for too long!" I say to her as i turn to face her "Don't you get it, Bella, all i do is protect you and congratulate you for having the perfect life, but then as soon as my life starts to become better and i find out i'm pregnant and i'm so happy... you have to come crashing down and you tell me i'm moving too fast... and then i find out your moving at exactly the same pace yourself!" I say as i start to walk off again

"Where are you going?" She asks me as she follows behind

"I'm going to fight, i need to kill some people before i kill my own sister" I say as i transform into my wolf and watch Jacob do the same as we both run down the mountain, going towards the field where the battle is set to begin.
