y/n shifted in her seat as their group sat in their third interview of the day. them being in america meant they had to do more press than they usually did but, today it was all smaller interviews. no one big like ellen or jimmy fallon.
jin sat to the left of the girl while taehyung sat on her right, the group always sat her in the middle due to past disrespectful remarks towards her in the past. "are you okay?" taehyung quietly questioned the girl that sat beside him wearing a skirt in the plastic chair. y/n nodded her head with a small smile at the boys concern, focusing back to the interview that namjoon was currently translating.
"so y/n, I personally wanted to know what it's like being the only black woman in this group...isn't it kind of weird? y'know... you being black" the woman interviewer questioned the girl, a small smirk displayed on her lips as she looked towards y/n.
"excuse me?" y/n chuckled confused on why the interview felt that she should ask that type of question, y/n tilted her head to the side as she straightened her back a little. namjoon's eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the interviewer, equally confused since they were just talking about their album. he didn't understand why the interview suddenly turned to his princess so fast.
"I mean you're black and they're korean... thats kind of weird." the female interviewer shrugged, now it was taehyung and yoongi's turn to glare.
"no, its not kind of weird- me being black and them being korean doesn't affect anything. why is my skin color any of your concern, by the way?... I'm proud of who I am, are you not proud of who you are? is that why you felt the need to turn this interview onto me?" y/n raised an eyebrow at the other woman, holding her hand out as she spoke. jin took notice to the action and put a hand on her lap.
"I-"
"also before you say another disrespectful thing to me, let me remind you that me being the only girl in this band just makes us even better. we're a family. oh... and another thing, don't expect bts or any army for that matter, to continue to support this company. I hope you enjoyed the five seconds of clout that I gave you because that's all you will ever get from us! have a nice day" y/n smiled sarcastically as she stood up from her seat, taehyung and jimin following her as she left.
"wow... she's so rude" the interviewer scoffed as the rest of the group snapped their necks towards her, hearing the comment.
"no, you're disrespectful. you just embarrassed yourself in front of the princess of kpop... she can ruin your career," namjoon chuckled standing up with the rest of the boys. "don't expect us to be back" namjoon smiled showing off his signature dimple as the rest of the boys left.
-in the green room
"you did what was right! you should've talked about her shoes too" jin scoffed remembering back to the interview that they just walked out of causing y/n to laugh at her friend.
"I should've talked about the fact that she starred at jungkook the majority of the time too" y/n joked watching as the rest of the boys along with their managers, staff, and personal assistants.
"you handled that alot better than many other idols, ma'am" soo-min, the girls personal assistant complimented the her before giving her a bottle of water and her phone.
"thank you soo-min, I just couldn't take her idiocy" y/n joked as soo-min and hoseok laughed, him listening to the conversation from his spot on the couch.
"can we please get out of here? I want a burger" jungkook groaned from his spot on the couch, he had already been annoyed by the interviewer's starring, the interviewer disrespecting his princess was just the icing on the cake. in other words, he was ready to go.
"only if we can get milkshakes!" y/n exclaimed as the two of them made eye contact before laughing, confusing the rest if the group.
"they're dorks" jin rolled his eyes at their behavior, going back to watching into the spider-verse on his phone. after everyone made sure they were readying to leave, they soon left that horrible entertainment network and never went back.
-once the interview was uploaded
as soon as the interview hit the media, twitter went into a uproar. starting with armies, ending with black twitter and a few celebrities.

y/n is the most unapologetic creative soul, I've ever met. it's crazy to think that interviewer had the nerve to try and step like that
when twitter finally finished talking about the situation, armies and many other kpop fandoms soon enough got the company to go downhill. they made sure that no one would mess with their princess. the interviewing company soon fired the interviewer along with hiring new manager's and board members, it didn't help because soon enough they went bankrupt since people stopped interviewing with them.
always remeber... big hit's princess is off limits.
