Chapter 2

Naruto entered her apartment and she was surprised to see that her Hokage-jiji and Sasuke was waiting for her.

"Jiji? Sasuke? What are you doing here?" asked Naruto. She was extremely confused on why they're here.

"Come, dear Naru. I will tell you something." he said and signing to come near him.

They sat on the sofa.

"I want to tell you that Mizuki was found dead this morning." the Sandaime said then Naruto froze.

"Wh-what? I-I just talked to him!" exclaimed and stuttered Naruto. She then suddenly thought of the massive chakra she sensed when 'Mizuki' approached her.

"That was my old student, Orochimaru." replied the Hokage.

"What? The snake bastard who's baa-chan and ero-sennin's old teammate?" she asked.

"Yes, and I'm afraid that he came here to get you." answered the Hokage.

"What will I do, Jiji?" asked Naruto.

"This is the plan. You will be accompanied by Sasuke here." pointing at Sasuke.

"But why? Isn't it bad? He has the Sharingan!" exclaimed Naruto.

"But I haven't activated it yet." interfered Sasuke.

"Yes, this will be the plan. You will go to the forest and bring the scroll as instructed and it will look like that Sasuke followed you. Then if he revealed himself I shall too. And I know that it will become a battlefield that's why Sasuke-kun is here to lead you away. And if it happens that I'll be killed, you will be banished by the council and then you can be freed here." explained her Hokage-jiji.

"You can't do that! I will not let you just go there! You're old, jiji! You can't leave me here!" Naruto said while tears flowing down her cheeks.

"You said it yourself that I am old that means it's my time to join my ancestors." said the Sandaime.

"No, jiji. You can't do that. You know that's not what I meant!" exclaimed Naruto.

"I know, Naru. But I need you to understand." said Hiruzen.

"But what will happen to me? to the village? Who'll be the next hokage?" Naruto said, she's trying her best to accept it but it's hard.

"Jiraiya will bring you and Sasuke to the Ruins of Uzushiogakure." replied Hiruzen.

"But Sasuke's a Konoha Shinobi! He would be marked as a rogue nin." exclaimed Naruto again.

"Hn, dobe. Sandaime-sama if you let me explain?" Sasuke asked and the Sandaime just nodded.

"It will look like I was killed or taken away by Orochimaru and they will clearly accuse you of selling me to the rogue sannin. Or if not you're going to take the blame of my death and Sandaime-sama's. I will be escorted by Kakashi-nii on an inn and I will be waiting there for you and Jiraiya-sama." explained Sasuke.

"But how? I mean how would they know?" asked Naruto.

"I will left a part of my clothes and some of blood then I will wear a chakra concealing seal so that no one will find me and that would be easy to leave the village." answered Sasuke.

"You have to act, my dear Naru." said the Hokage.

"I will take my leave now. I will prepare myself and pack." Sasuke bowed and left.

After Sasuke left she throwed herself to her Hokage-jiji.

"Jiji, please find another way." she cried.
