"What?!", I asked. "I said we are moving to Japan", my father said in a voice that suggested not to contradict him.
"Why?", I wanted to know. "Because I found a better work there. You should start packing soon because we will move next week on tuesday."

I sighed as I walked to my room. That means I have to start speaking japanese. Don't get me wrong, I can speak japanese because my mother used to practice with me...when she was still alive. But I'm still scared.
Japanese isn't my first language so I could make many mistakes and that would be embarrassing.

That also means that I will lose all my friends here in Korea. Not that I have many but...
It still sucks.

I laid in bed thinking about how to tell my friends that I'm moving. I decided to just text them in the group chat.

I turned off my phone and put it away.
I will miss my friends.
Soon I started drifting into sleep.

• next morning •

I woke up and walked into the kitchen to make myself breakfast. It was 8 am and my father usually sleeps till 10.

I took a bowl out of the cabinet, milk out of the fridge and some cornflakes from the shelf.

"It is saturday, that means I have 3 days to pack my stuff", I thought.
After eating I went to my room and started to put a few things in some boxes.
"Maybe I should check my phone if my friends texted me."

I sat in the seat of the airplane to Japan and listened to music with my headphones.

I began to quietly sing the lyrics. "Still lately I begin to shake for no reason at all~..."
"Can you please be quiet? I'm trying to read", my father said to me with an annoyed voice.
"Sorry father", I sighed.
