It's true.
It's a universally accepted fact.
Life is a bitch.
Maybe you're being negative, maybe you're know for you're cynicism and this just justifies it, but it's true.
Okay it probably sounds like some sort of error, or I'm just not being appreciative of everything I've gotten.
Yeah, is it childish to be angry when you finally get the boots you yearned for, except two years later when boot season is over?
Is it poignant to be slightly rustled when you get the boy you secretly were in love with to love you, a few months too late when you're already over him?
I think it's right to be mad.
Why, oh why do you get everything when you want it least?
Of course you take it anyway, because sometimes people just can't reason, and will not understand how something you once loved greatly is just now "meh" to you.
"I'm over him!"
"No, you're not."
"Uh, I actually am."
"Stop lying to yourself."
Can you argue with such people?
No you can't.
And you just have to take it like a man/woman and hope you can somehow rekindle that burnt out flame of love.
