Kakashi's daughter, Sasuke's lover? What? ch 12

"Don't be reckless Ayame!" Kakashi scolded, I grunted,

"Gomenasai." Kakashi didn't say anything,

"So I had it right." Kakashi finally taunted, "It was all an act." I looked at him confused, what was he talking about,

"An act?" Tazuna asked,

"With a cute little mask." Kakashi continued,

"Phony." Sasuke added,

"So I guess all that stuff about being a tracker ninja was a lie." Tazuna guessed, how much did I miss when I was stabbed? I thought, Oh well, not the time or place Ayame.

"He's got some nerve facing us again after he lied to us like that!" Sakura inputted,

"And hiding behind that mask? Who does he think he's fooling?" Kakashi asked,

"Speak for yourself sensei." Sakura laughed,

"I'm taking him out, hiding behind that mask, who does he think he's fooling?" Sasuke added,

"Oh Sasuke, you're so cool!" Sakura squealed, I rolled my eyes. I jumped when 'Haku' started spinning on his heels, making his way to Sasuke. To my surprise, Haku attacked Sasuke with a needle. I shrugged it off,

"Sakura, protect Tazuna, and both of you, let Sasuke handle this." I nodded though I knew he couldn't see, after all, my jutsu was still in place. I gasped as Haku started to do hand signs with a single hand, H-How?! Haku stomped on the water and before I knew it, ice needles were surrounding them both. They started heading towards Sasuke and Haku, I gasped as the needles made contact with-

"Where'd he go?!" I exclaimed, the needles had missed and Sasuke was gone. I looked up to see him high in the air, I smirked, that tricky ninja. Sasuke threw a few ninja stars at Haku; they all missed but got Haku to back off. I gasped as Sasuke appeared behind Haku; I looked up to see him gone,

"You're not as fast as you think. From now on, you'll be defending from my attacks." They both then got into a heated close combat fight. It ended when Sasuke kicked Haku straight in the face, sending him flying,

"Ha, thought you were stronger than me eh? Let's see what else you were wrong about." Sasuke taunted,

"You made a big mistake insulting these ninja. That's almost guaranteed to bring out Sasuke's attitude," Kakashi informed, "he's the best young fighter of the hidden leaf village. Sakura here is our sharpest mind." Sakura giggled, "Ayame, well she's the best young ninjutsu user I've seen so far." I smiled, "And lastly, our number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja is our very own Naruto Uzumaki." Zabuza chuckled,

"Haku, if you don't get your act together then we'll be the victims and not them."

"Right." I narrowed my eyes when Haku's chakra suddenly became visible, "I'm sorry it's come to this." I moved my fingers; this is about how cold it was back in my childhood village. "Secret jutsu!" I looked around in amazement and horror as the water came up and started to form ice slates, trapping Sasuke inside, "Cristal ice mirrors!" I gasped as they started to glow slightly as Haku stepped into one of the slates; I could tell immediately that this isn't any normal jutsu,

"Sasuke!" Kakashi started running towards him but Zabuza got in his way, I knew that I was the only one who had a chance at getting in there, I had the cover of the mist. I looked at Kakashi and saw that his hand was twitching in the direction of Sasuke, I nodded. He wanted me to help. I started to run to Sasuke, being as quiet as I could. I barged into the middle of the prison Haku had created, I let my jutsu drop. Sasuke growled at me,

"What are you doing?!" He yelled,

"Helping you!" I yelled back,

"Now, we will begin. I will show the true meaning of the word 'speed'." Haku interrupted in a calm voice, I growled and drew my swords. I gasped as needles flew out from what seemed like nowhere, they hit Sasuke on the shoulder, soon it was just a barrage of needles. I hissed in pain as I got bombarded with needles,

"Sasuke! Ayame!" I heard Kakashi exclaim, I didn't notice Sasuke dropping his kunai knife. I opened my eyes slightly to see Sasuke covering his head with his hands,

"Sasuke look out!" I screamed, he didn't answer so I ran over to him. Ignoring the pain in my own body, I quickly started to deflect the needles away from us as much as I could with my swords. I fell to the ground in pain as the needles stopped coming, turns out Sakura had tried to throw the kunai knife back to Sasuke. I gasped as a ninja star came out of nowhere and hit Haku, and in a puff of smoke, Naruto was on the scene. Luckily Haku had fallen out of his ice mirror, I thought about getting up to pull Sasuke out of the house of mirrors but my body was too weak and I knew it. So instead, I got up and got ready for the worse,

"Number one, hyperactive, knucklehead ninja." Haku recited form Kakashi's earlier speech,

"Get up Sasuke, we don't have time for this." I ordered,

"Ha! Now that I'm here, everything will be alright!" Naruto exclaimed, I couldn't help but snort at his comment, "You know how in stories how the hero normally shows up at the last minute and kicks some butt? Well that's what I'm about to do!" In the middle of Naruto's speech, Sasuke had managed to stand up.

"Alright! Here we go! Shadow clone jutsu!" Naruto yelled, just as he did, Zabuza threw some ninja stars at him,

"Naruto! Move!" Kakashi shouted,

"Naruto!" I screamed, but, once again, Naruto froze up and didn't move an inch! To my surprise *Geez, lots of surprises for Ayame today XD* Haku decided to throw some of his needles which cancelled out Zabuza's ninja stars. By the look on Naruto's face, it also surprised him too,

"Don't yell out your jutsu's Naruto!" I yelled, this seemed like the first time Naruto noticed that Sasuke and I were trapped,

"Ayame? Sasuke?" Naruto asked dumbly, I rolled my eyes,

"Haku, what are you doing?" Zabuza asked angrily,

"Zabuza, forgive me but, let me fight this boy my own way." Zabuza grunted,

"So be it. Do as you wish."

"Bring. It. On." Naruto yelled,

"Just so you know Haku, you're too soft." Zabuza told him. I looked myself over, soft? He's right; none of these needles hit a single vital spot! I looked behind me and saw that Sasuke was doing the same as me, checking himself out. I felt my face going red when I realised the truth, I was practically alone with my love. I shook my head and looked forward, what am I thinking? We're in the middle of a battle for goodness sakes! I got myself ready again as Naruto started to yell at Haku, I walked over to Sasuke,

"Are you ok?" I whispered. He gritted his teeth but nodded. I quickly got some bandages out of my pouch; I quickly wrapped some around some of Sasuke's most noticeable wounds that looked the worst,

"What are you doing?!" He scolded me, "Your wounds are worse than mine! Treat yourself!" Well that was true, I protected Sasuke before without protecting myself but I didn't care,

"I don't care." I mimicked my thoughts, "You are more important than me Sasuke." He opened his mouth to talk and I moved without thinking. I kissed him through my mask, he stiffened. I leaned back, not even bothering to feel embarrassed from what I had just done,

"Sasuke. I love you, meaning that your life is more important than mine. Do not try and object because I won't listen." Sasuke didn't say anything. I finished wrapping the bandages around his arm; they were an amateur job but as good as there ever gonna get. I sighed and turned around, getting ready for the fight of my life.

They kissed they kissed they kissed!!!! XD I've been itching to write this chapter, I was going to wait til Sasuke's near death scene but I'm not very good at waiting.
