She's in shock or so scared not thinking straight?

Fuck...fuck...fuck...got to find that idiot!

'Should let her freeze her ass off and be bear food.' Aizawa rolls his eyes and let a low, rumbling growl out. Whatever form she is in or creature, there are no real defined tracks.

"Where are you going Kitten?" he mutters in a rumbling tone.

Coella pauses and moves her ears back, left then right. She has heard a predator growl in the distance. The young woman locates the rumbling sound as having come from behind her. Aizawa is trying to locate her.

Being the type of rare and cursed Were she is, he wouldn't have a clue what track to look for. She is able to leap and not leave a foot print like other Weres. Coella now opts for fast and less silent versus slower and silent.

The retired teacher searches for signs of someone or something traveling through the woods. His eyes finally locates a log with moss missing. An animal is traveled rapidly recently. The once track in the upturned moss is unusual. The animal is on the front of its hind feet, so bipedal most likely but has long claw-like toenails.

Aizawa kneels down to examine the torn moss and try to get a whiff of scent. It is too faint to be sure but Shouta knows by the claw portion of the print, it has to be a Were being. His mouth forms a wicked smile.

Could it possibly be true?

Coella is a Were?

A Were animal of what type?

A Werecat would be the ultimate mate and drive him crazy. They wouldn't get anything done as they would be constantly mating everywhere and anytime.

Well, except for the necessary things one needs to do. He used to be tired all the time but that changed when he became a lycanthrope. His stamina had greatly improved. Shouta was a beast now, in many aspects since his bite while patrolling one night. First the USJ villain incident then the werewolf bite that ended his teaching and hero career. It probably was not feline but it did have clawed feet.

How many Were species again?

Wereboar...Werebear...Werecat...Werewolf...what else is there?

Coella stops to get her bearings and notes a wind change. She is no longer downwind. Her eyes look at the terrain and turn southwest. It takes her a little past the old cabins she had seen but it wouldn't give her position away with her scent.

Aizawa had also noted the wind change and takes a large sniff to verify his location to his prey. His head went up to the sky and gauges the time of day. The area is too remote for cellphones and his changing destroys watches.

Aizawa sniffs again but just can't figure out the scent. It is Were and it is Coella's scent but the species baffles him. Then again he isn't a Were expert. That would be Miss Riot Gear Cryptozoologist and future mate.

Goddamn!

She looked even hot in that damn riot gear!

Such a little bad ass brat of a girl. Some sass in the beginning of the 'courtship' so getting her to submit will be even better than an easy, give in, right away. Brat works for Coella and his plans.

"Time to pick up the pace Shouta.." he huffs aloud to himself.

She is either turning southeast or southwest...southeast is the town and southwest is towards some old cabins. Which way is she headed to?

Cabins is the location he chooses to head for. Shouta figured she could hear him from a distance so he stops and produces a human wolf howl but it sounds pretty fucking real, like a wolf to anyone that hears it.

The Werewolf knows she would know it was him and not a real wolf being a zoologist. He is going to fluster her and get Coella to make a mistake. At least she is still thinking, so that meant she's warm. Though she is probably getting hungry and exhausted, depending on her species.

Coella freezes and whips her head around. Her large sensitive ears hearing the howl from Aizawa. He is closer than she wanted. She curses under her breath. He catches her scent the same time she notices the wind change.

Wolves can run for long periods of time. Aizawa wasn't born a wolf, she hopes but built lean as if to go for a long distance. Coella has done an IronMan Triathlon but that didn't mean she would out run the werewolf. Time to think and use her brain.

The young woman begins running left for awhile then doubles back then to the right and doubles back. She breaks branches on purpose to throw the trail off. The girl finds a decent size stream and drinks from it then travels down it, trying not to disturb the stream bed.

Aizawa comes upon one of Coella's double backs. At first he becomes excited and smug at the same time. He follows the trail then lost it. The retired teacher huffs. He retraces his steps and notices it was ruse. The girl is trying to throw him off her trail and had almost succeeded.

The once underground hero, sits down on a log and pulls out an energy bar with a bottle of water. His thoughts go to how hungry she must be. He is pushing her hard and wonders if she has been able to hunt some food down. The stream near here would do for water but the amount of energy she is using would catch up to her sooner than he would.

Shouta stands up and starts off again. He decides to stick to a path straight for the cabins. He finds a couple more false trails she has cut through the woods. His eyes scan the ground and the trees. The Werewolf didn't even know why he looked up but there it is, plain as day. Fresh claw marks from an animal jumping from tree to tree, ten feet or more up on some trees.

"Well fuck me silly...she's fucking agile and can jump high," Shota let a small whistle out.

Time for a new game plan if she could jump like that.

That meant she could get up a tree and maybe give him the 'slip'. He hadn't been looking up for clues.

This girl is good and for an instant Aizawa thinks she might get away from him. His eyes rise to the sky and he smirks. Her time just ran out. The sun is going down. The former teacher strips out of his clothes and puts them in a pack.

The cold air raises goosebumps on this flesh and s a little of a shock to his lower half. He snorts and shakes his head, the black mane of hair shaking loose from the hair tie. The sound of cracking bones and ligaments snapping is the announcement that Aizawa is changing his form. It is but seconds for the change and not painful anymore for Shouta.

The first few times were excruciating to say the least. His now clawed hand grasps the pack and he jumps into a run. The hunt is truly on. There are no rules and no one to witness the hunt. The darkness kept its secrets well...
