The three of them ducked around a corner after using a grenade to stun several guards, and came face to face with another one, Alice raised her gun, but she didn't have any rounds left. "Get down on the ground!" The guard shouted at them, but before they could react a body slammed into the guards and threw him through a glass window before screaming loudly.

Minho.

"Minho." Thomas said as the three of them rushed forward and enveloped him into a hug, when they pulled back after the quick but fierce embrace, the look in Minho's eyes gave away that he didn't know if this was happening. "Is this real?" He asked, genuinely unsure, who knows what they had been doing to them.

In order to reassure him, Alice reached up and ruffled his hair, which he had always hated anyone doing, and said, "well, we said until the end, right?"

Alice's vision started to go hazy at the edges and she lost her focus until she was being pulled into a side room and Minho and Newt were blocking the door. Thomas peeled back her jacket and looked in horror at the growing red patch in her shirt, "It's fine." Alice stated bluntly while she quickly grabbed gauze and a bandage from the table in the room, she used tweezers and bit down on the inside of her mouth while she removed the bullet and then made the quickest wrapping for it ever. Alice would worry about infection or something later, but she was losing a lot of blood and the wrapping was the most important thing at the moment. She secured it with several layers of tape before she looked out the window and saw a fountain.

"Thomas, chuck something out the window into that fountain to see how deep it is!" Alice shouted at him while he was pacing around the room, very nervous. Thomas grinned at her as he did just that, he gave her a pat on the head in thanks and Alice shoved him away with a look of disgust, "I've got a weirdo for a brother."

Newt and Minho looked at Thomas in bewilderment when he said that they could make it if they jumped, when they glanced over at Alice who was putting her shirt back down after casually patching up a bullet wound, they decided that at that point they could accept anything when it came down to those two.

"With a running start, we could make it." Thomas said, only really half sure about the jump.

"This is so stupid." Alice spoke as they moved back.

Minho chimed in then too, "are you sure about this?"

Thomas, ever so reassuring, "not really."

"Nice pep talk." Minho sounded less enthused than he ever had in his life and Alice couldn't help but smile at him from where she was stood between Thomas and Newt.

"Yeah, we're all bloody inspired." At that moment, the door burst open and the four of them ran before they threw themselves out of the window.

Weightless. That was how Alice felt while she plummeted to the fountain below, she screamed in either fear or exhilaration, she couldn't tell.

They helped to pull Alice out of the lake as she was starting to feel all of the pain from where the bullet had breached her side, she was hardly aware of the guards that threatened to stop their plan right there and put them all back into W.C.K.D's grasp until Gally shot them all before ripping his helmet off and scaring Minho half to his death. "We'll explain later, you're still not dreaming by the way." Alice muttered to her friend while he slipped one of her arms over his shoulders while Newt did the same on the other side.

"What the hell happened to her?" Gally asked while they moved as quickly as they could through the city while still trying to maintain some part of discretion, there was a look of real concern in his eyes. "You let the weakest one get shot?"

Alice scoffed, "I take offense to that." Gally wasn't wrong, she was at her weakest that she had ever been and piling a bullet wound on top was likely not the best idea. There was so much blood seeping through her shirt now that it was becoming alarming, not that she had enough energy to keep checking it, but she managed to judge from the concerned look on Newt's face.
