So much has happened in your life, with many huge changes. You became a pirate, got into the Grand Line, and now, travelling the New World. You've come so far with these crazy changes in your life, but none of them were quite as impactful as one specific event that lead to the biggest changes of all: the two years you and everyone in the Straw Hat crew spent away from each other. Those two years caused major changes, some of which could be specifically directed between you and a certain sniper.

"Yo, Usopp!" You called out across the deck, approaching the said man.

Usopp looked up from absently staring out to sea, pleasantly greeting you as you came over. "Yo! What's up?"

"Not much. Just thinking. Thinking about this huge adventure, the New World, all that stuff. How we got here is amazing." You spoke up brightly.

"Yeah, it is." Usopp nodded. "Those two years really changed us. I'm surprised we all made it back to the same spot on time to even continue on." He chuckled.

You smirked, remembering those chaotic two years. "Hey, speaking of those two years, how was that for you?"

Interested in your question, Usopp turned to face you. "Well... It was very odd. One of the weirder things in life if I could describe it." He told you vaguely. "It did me good in the end though."

"Really. Cause I'm noticing a lot of changes in you compared to how you were before now. And let me tell you, you've changed a lot." You noted, nodding your head.

"Changed? Is... Is that a good or bad thing?" Usopp asked rather nervously.

"Hmm, well, I dunno. You tell me." You replied, raising a brow.

Sighing a little, he seemed up for the challenge, that new bit of confidence edging him on. "Well... I'm pretty ripped now compared to before." He mentioned, flexing in a relatively cocky manner.

You just had to roll your eyes now, groaning audibly at his answer. If one thing was apparent, it was his increase in confidence. "Well gee, your pants got bigger too." You started, ready for a good tease. "Compensating perhaps?"

"EEEEH?!" Usopp screeched, sputtering a bit as a blush rose to his face. "E-EXCUSE YOU?!"

You fell over laughing at this point, hitting the railing and sliding down to the deck as you laughed. "You're still so damn easy to mess with~!" You giggled, slowly coming down from your laughing high.

"YEAH?" W-w-well you clearly got a lot more sassy!" He stammered out; a poor attempt at a comeback.

"Oooo, I'm so offended~!" You hummed, rolling your eyes playfully as you stood up once again.

"You certainly got a lot sharper with your tongue, i-i-idiot!" He defended once again.

You just laughed, a deeper blush rising to his cheeks in slight defeat. "You know, there's one thing that definitely hasn't changed over time." You sighed.

Still feeling a little defeated but defiant, he turned to you slightly to inquire your words. "Y-yeah? And what is that then?"

"Well... I think Its more like two things. One being your nose."

"Oi."

You giggled. "And two being just how god damn cute you are." You finished with a wink.

Whatever shade of red his face was before seemed to double in colour saturation, the most vivid of scarlets now on his cheeks. Usopp began to stammer, trying to find something to say back to you, but of course failing miserably as his thoughts were all a mix and no words would come out.

"Ah, that hasn't changed either~ Now I know why I fell in love with you a couple years ago." You grinned.

As if that was the trigger to set something off in the man, Usopp lunged forward -scarlet face and all- curling his fingers around your arms and suddenly kissing you. You were taken by surprise, neck warm as your heart rate went up alongside your body temperature. Backing yourself against the railing so you wouldn't fall, you felt your insides explode as your little dream became a reality, your teasing clearly having gotten you somewhere in all this. Before you could truly enjoy the sensation though, Usopp pulled back, a mixed look of confidence and regret in his eyes.

"Wow... Are you sure it isn't you that got sharper with your tongue?" You hummed with amusement, falling into a slight flustered daze as your cheeks grew in colour. You locked your hands around his arms and slid them down to his own hands, encouraging him to remain and that it was alright.

He felt at ease from your gesture, the slight regret disappearing. "Hah, I'm sure. You can still out sass everyone on this ship. But in the aspect of kissing... I-I bet I'm the real winner here then."

You whistled. "You've gotten bolder. I think I like some of these changes that occurred." You grinned. "Good thing I told you I'm in love with you."

"Agreed." He nodded. "Man, I thought I almost screwed up there."

    "Nope~ That was perfect." You said with a smile, pulling him into a hug. "Too perfect."
