Jayden, a 22 year old who lives alone in his apartment. He also lives the life of the famous streamer named 'Ghost' with a subscriber count of 9 million. He lives quite the fine life. But when he meets another fellow streamer online, his life chang...
"Alright guys, thanks for coming to my stream." Jayden said with a chuckle as he began to wind down. The chat said their goodbyes as he waved a friendly smile towards his camera. Finally ending his stream, he leaned back into his chair that creaked and squealed from the strain. He hummed satisfied and stared at his computer screen. He noticed a message notification on the corner of his screen.
Its_Sophia > You finally finished your stream 🙄
The clacking of his keyboard was loud as he thought of something to type.
Ghost > yup. wanna call now?
The ringing of discord chimed through his headset. He clicked to answer the call from his friend hesitantly.
"Hey. What's up?" Her voice was soft and gentle. Compared to a mouse, you'd almost think the mouse was louder.
"Not much, just bored. I streamed for a bit longer than I anticipated." Jayden stated monotony. He let out a yawn and rested his head onto his hand.
"You had a lot more viewers this time though. Suffering from success, huh?" Sophia giggled at her own comment. Jayden chuckled back, then sighing from her comment.
"Yeah, I guess so, aren't I?" There was a small silence between the two, but it was comfortable. He could hear the clacking of her own keyboard through her mic.
"Have you heard of the new streamer, 'Alexshire'? He's been gaining serious traction lately." Jayden assumed that's what she was typing about. He hadn't heard of this streamer yet, but supposedly they're getting popular.
"Send the link to his account and I'll look at it." Another message from Sophia soon popped up. Jayden clicked on the link that she had sent him, instantly taking him to one of this streamer's videos.
"Oh my God, guys! Chat! We reached 3 million! Thank you all so much!" He had an English accent that was smooth; music to anyone's ears. He was pretty good at videogames too and getting plenty of views on his streams. His dark brown hair formed around his face, it was shaggy, but still looked nice and presentable. His dark brown eyes flickered across the screen filled with focus and confidence. Something about him drew Jayden to gain interest.
"He's pretty cool. I should ask him if he wants to collab." Jayden said contently.
"Tweet out to him on Twitter, I'm sure he would see it since you're so popular." Sophia said in a slight mocking tone.
"Shush, Soph', I'll call you later." Sophia giggled again through Jayden's headset as he hung up the call before she could say anything else.
Jayden opened Twitter and started to write his new tweet, still listening to the stream. He typed, then deleted, then typed, then deleted again. Why was he so nervous? He's tweeted out to plenty of streamers before. He brushed off the thought as he attempted to think of what to say. Eventually, he tweeted out, then leaned back in his chair again. His eyes fixated on his words.

Few minutes had passed since Jayden had sent out the tweet. He had been staring at his screen, completely zoned out, until he heard his username through his ears, remembering that he was still listening to Alex's stream.
"Ghost tweeted me? What? Chat you're lying... but I'll look anyway." Jayden instantly switched screens to the stream to watch Alex react to his tweet. "Holy shit... he did tweet to me! Yo, chat! He wants to collab with me!" The smile on Alex's face beamed brightly through Jayden's computer screen. Shivers went down his spine with happiness and excitement. Alex's chat was going crazy, there was barely any time to read it was going by so fast. But from what Jayden could read, everyone seemed super happy and excited as well.
"I guess I have to tweet back my answer should I? What do you think chat? Should I collab with Ghost?" Jayden's interest had peaked once again. He leaned closer to his screen, waiting eagerly for his answer. The chat was screaming 'Yes' at Alex, his smile still plastered onto his face.
"I'm tweeting out right now. Go look at twitter!" Alex pulled out his phone and began typing immediately. Jayden watched closely at Alex's face cam, analyzing his features. The way Alex's smile would widen at certain points when he typed, how he would look at his chat screen to look at his fans reactions. The wait was agonizing for Jayden, and suddenly, his phone vibrated.
'Alexshire has mentioned you in tweet!'
Jayden quickly snatched his phone off of his desk and unlocked his passcode. He clicked on the notification, completely elevated.
