"yeah, but after i finish this document" 

"done! i connected to your laptop and took the document, i just sent it to you in an email" she started getting up, was still shocked from how fast she worked.

"and yes. i will share my nuggies with you" she handed me a box of nuggets

"nuggies? now they have a nickname?" she nodded

"bye chase, don't forget to ask Leo!" she said as she left the computer lab

this woman is actually a genius, i told myself

its around 3 pm right now and i chose to go ask Leo about the DNA test Rory told me about. i knocked on his office's door and heard a 'come in'.

"hey Leo" i sat in one of the chairs in his office

"what's up?" 

"i wanted to ask about your mother's corpse..." 

he lifted his gaze and warily "what about it..?"

"when they sent you the flesh, why didn't you ask for the whole body?"

 "because right after they did, they burnt it. we just found the skeleton" 

"ok and what about the skeleton, did you check whether its her DNA or not?" Leo looked up at me 

"what are trying to say...?"  

"I'm saying that they could've faked it, maybe that's not her corpse." 

 "continue"  

"there are 2 possibilities if its true and it turns out that its not her corpse. one, is that they didn't give you the correct corpse, so they tricked you" i saw his fist clenching

 "and second, this is what Rory indicated. she thinks your mother may be alive...." 

 there was silence for about 5 minutes until he spoke up again " imp going to test it and if your right, someone is going to die along with their entire mafia" he was referring to the ultores

 "and what if I'm wrong?" 

 "nothing happens, we follow the same plan we had, bury the corpse and shatter the ultores mafia" he shocked me. i thought we would be killed for assuming something like that

"well then, I'm going to go eat sour patch kids with Rory, see ya" i said getting up and leaving the room. but i can swear that i saw him lift his head when i mentioned Rory

 I'm hallucinating, i have been awake since 2 am

 "chase!" i heard Ayla call for me 

"come sit with us" Jaxon said 

"I'm actually going to hangout with Rory" i said

 "she just left with Liam to the garden, she said they will be back in 10 minutes" Alex explained

 "ok then" i agreed and sat with them in the living room

 "we wanted to ask, have you noticed Leo acting different lately? he's not always throwing tantrums at least not as much. he actually laughs with us, just like it was before you know..." Xavier explained 

"yeah i did.."i remembered how Leo acted 2 minutes ago, how he didn't even make us suffer any consequences if our theory was wrong 

"i think its Rory" Antonia spoke up
