Scars

chapter 1

I woke up early hopping to find my parents before they can go to work but as usual luck wasn't on my side, they were already gone. I decided to go get ready for school , on my way back to my room I saw my cousin Travis coming out of his room and walking towards me .
Travis is 20years old , he is 5years older than me and he stays with us since my parents are always at work and Travis doesn't go to college or work.

"Hey" he says says with a small smile on his face , I have to agree that my cousin is good looking . " what are you doing here ? Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for school ?" He asked .

"Am going now , I just came out to check if mom and dad were still at home" I said feeling sad.

"Hey don't be sad , they just went to work you will see them on Sunday" he says trying to make me feel better.
" I know " I said with a fake smile just wanting to be alone in my room .
"Okay , go get ready I'll see you in the kitchen" he says and walks away while I went in my room .

I know that my parents loves us a lot that's why they are always working so that we can have whatever we want, sometimes I can't help but feel like they love their work more than us , for crying out loud the only day we get to see them is Sunday .
With a heavy sigh I went to the bathroom and did my business after half an hour I came out and went into my closet to find something to wear. I just decided to wear black jeans and black hoodie with boots.

I got out of my closet and decided to go to my sister's room , am sure that child is still sleeping because she hates waking up early .
She is two years younger than me but when you look at us you will think we are the same age because of the way she is almost the same height as me .
I reach her bedroom and the door was slightly ajar so I decided to just go in even though I know she hates it just as much as I do , but I don't care about that right now , I just want to make sure she is done. am always late to school because of her .

Then I saw her coming out of her bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body . Seriously !!!. I just stood there too angry to even speak , just looking at her wishing my eyes could kill her.

"Hey to you too sis . don't even shout at me , as you can see I just came out of the bathroom and don't worry I won't take long with dressing" she says while rolling her eyes and going into her closet not even waiting for me to reply .
This girl with her stupid attitude , first she woke up late and now she is giving me an attitude .
"Reese if you don't come out of this room in fifteen minutes just know that you are walking to school " I shouted while storming out of her room and going towards the kitchen to eat something.

While entering the kitchen I saw Travis already eating his breakfast and he is the one dropping us to school , I decided to join him and eat as well.

After twenty minutes my sister decided to bless us with her presence , while Travis and I finished eating our breakfast .
Suddenly an idea popped in my head and I smirk .
this girl was busy giving me an attitude , now let see what she will do.

Since Travis and I already had our breakfast and Travis already went out which means he is inside the car waiting for us , I decided to go out as well to join Travis inside the car .
"We will leave you if you decide to eat , now it your choice to either come with us now or eat and walk to school after" I said while going outside and smirking .
"Wait let me take something I will eat it at school" I hard my sister shout after me " you have two minutes " I shout back and started laughing .
