Chapter 23: 3 Days?

I landed in Australia early the next morning there. Back in America it was still night time. I got a cab and with no sleep in me, I headed over to Michael's house. Currently I was standing in front of his door waiting to knock.

Lena~
"3 more months and you'll be out here," I whispered to my baby.
I looked up and sighed.
"I wish your dad was here," I whispered quietly.
A single tear fell down my face onto my shirt leaving a mark.
"I'm sorry you're gonna grow up like this," I cried harder.
My trembling hands made their way up to my face. I sobbed into my hands as I sat on the couch all alone.
"I'm gonna be so alone again," I sobbed.
*bing*
I looked up at my phone,

Miss you :)
I grabbed the phone and wiped it across the room, sobbing harder.
A knock on the door stopped my crying. I got up slowly and walked over to the door wiping my tears. I opened the door.
"Lena- are you okay?"She asked.
I looked at her and shook my head crying again. She embraced me and rubbed my back.
"I thought everything was over, I thought they would just arrest him and Niall and I would live happily ever after." I cried into her shoulder.
"It's okay," she whispered to me.
"It's not okay Dani, you and Liam are done and he's dating someone else now. How can you be okay with that?" I cried.
"Sophia's good for him, I know he's happier now." She whispered to me.
"You might be okay, but what about the twins, what about me-"
"It's better now love, we got married to soon. Had a family too soon. All happened too fast," she explained.
I closed the door and we walked over to my couch.
"So tell me," I said, "how are we gonna have this baby." I smiled.
She laughed and hugged me again.
"Just you and me now L, just you and me."

The door flew open and Michael's mom looked stunned.
"Caitlin what are you doing out here?" She asked.
"Sorry I was gonna knock, I just-" I started to say.
She cut me off by hugging me.
"Everything's falling apart isn't it?" I cried into her arm.
"He's gonna get better Cait, you just have to give him time," she whispered.
"I don't have time," I whispered.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"I failed him, I failed Lena's dad." I cried.
"Caitlin what-"
"He's gonna come for me because I betrayed him." I cried harder.
"Caitlin-"
"Mrs. Clifford please help me," I sobbed.
"I don't know what to do-"
"Please tell Lena, please tell her-" I choked out.
"Tell her what!" She yelled panicked.
*BOOM*
I fell to the ground in pain holding my stomach. She screamed and ran to my side.
"Tell her-" I cried.
She nodded.
"This Is It."
