Chapter 6

Once he had calmed down, I walked him to Archie's office before heading to Granny's and getting two hot coco's for us. On my way out I bumped into Emma

"Hope, where's Henry? I need to talk to him" She asked

"He doesn't want to see you right now" I replied

"Please? I didn't mean what I said" She replied

"Then why say is? I mean I know you had no clue he was there but still" I said pissed at her

"I know, but I can make it right if you tell me where he is" She said

"Come on" I said sighing. I led her to Archie's office

"I dont want to talk to you" Said Henry as Emma walked into the office

"Miss Swan, if she knew you were here-" Said Archie before Emma interrupted him

"To hell with her. Henry, there is one simple reason I stayed here. You. I wanted to get to know you" Said Emma

"You think Im crazy" Said Henry

"No, I think the curse is crazy. And it is. But, that doesn't mean that it isn't true. It is a lot to ask anyone to believe in, but there are a lot of crazy things in this world. So what do I know. Maybe it is true" Emma replied

"But you told my mom" Said Henry

"What she needed to hear. What I do know, is that if the curse is real, the only way to break it is by tricking the Evil Queen into thinking that we are non-believers. Cause that way, shes not on to us. Isnt that what Operation Cobra was all about? Throwing her off the trail?" Said Emma

"Brilliant!" Said Henry getting enthusiastic again

"Ive read the pages and, Henry, you are right. They are dangerous. There is only one way to make sure that she never sees them" Said Emma. She threw the pages in the fire and watched them burn "Now we have the advantage"

"I knew you were here to help me" Said Henry hugging Emma

"Thats right, kid. I am. And nothing, not even a curse, is going to stop that" She replied. We left the office

"Hey, I'm gunna go back to the house, let you two have some time alone" I said. Emma smiled and I walked in the other direction heading back to Regina's. I spotted her outside her office on my way. She was talking to Mr Gold so I decided to let them finish talking, trying to not over hear what they were saying.

"Perhaps you should have come to me. If Miss Swan is a problem you cant fix, Im only too happy to help. For a price, of course" He said loudly. I couldn't help hear

"Im not in the business of making deals with you anymore" Said Regina. Deals? I thought to myself

"To which deal are you referring?" Mr Gold asked

"You know what deal" Said Regina

"Oh, right. Yeah. The boy I procured for you. Henry. Did I ever tell you what a lovely name that was? However did you pick it?" Gold asked

"Did you want her to come to town? You wanted all this to happen, didnt you? Your finding Henry wasnt an accident, was it?" She asked getting angry

"Whatever do you mean?" Gold asked

"Where did you get him? Do you know something?" She asked

"I have no idea what youre implying" Said Gold

"I think you do. Who is this woman, his mother, thisEmma Swan?" Asked Regina

"I would say you think you know exactly who she is. I really must be going" He said trying to leave. Regina jumped in front of him

"Tell me what you know about her" She demanded

"Im not going to answer you, dear. So I suggest you excuse me... Please" He said. Regina let him go. She didn't even try make him talk any more... He said please!

Is it true? Is it all true?!

"Hope!" She said shocked as I came out from behind the bush "What's wrong?" She asked

"It's true isn't it? All of it! The curse and everything! Your the evil queen!" I said in shock. I felt like I was having an out of body experience. She stared at me for a while before answering

"Come with me. I have something that will explain everything" She said walking to her car. I didn't want to go, I kept telling myself not to go with her, but my legs wouldn't listen, they went with her no matter how hard I tried to turn around and run.

We drove to the house and when inside, she led me down some stairs into a basement. It was dark and I couldn't see anything. Before my eyes could adjust, I felt something hard hit the back of my head and I fell to the ground.

The next thing I remember was a bright light shining in my face and the cool surface I was lying on. I tried to move my hand to cover my eyes from the light, but I couldn't move them. They were strapped down, I tried to move my legs but they were strapped down too. I couldn't move! My eyes finally adjusted to the light and I looked around to find any clues that would tell me where I was. There was nothing in the room besides a machine that had lots of vires coming out. Behind me was some stairs leading to a locked door.

Just then the door opened and someone came downstairs. It was Regina

"Your finally awake" She said

"What the hell is happening?" I asked confused

"You over heard my little chat with Rumpelstiltskin and figured out the truth. I thought it would talk a little longer, but I was ready anyway" She said turning to the machine

"Rumpelstiltskin? What are you talking about?" I asked

"I am about to explain everything" She said turning back towards me and stroking my face "I have a bed time story for you"
