Chapter 4

Graham made sure Henry wasn't hurt in anyway and then left the two of us alone. Henry got changed into his pj's and I lay on his bed.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked coming out the bathroom

"No, I'm just disappointed" I replied

"Come on, you know that's worse" He said

"I just wish you hadn't lied to me" I said

"Would you have stopped me?" He asked. I paused for a moment to think about it

"Probably, yeah! I get why you did it, I just wish you hadn't" I said

"Sorry" He replied. I grabbed his arm and pulled him into a hug

"I forgive you! Now, what is your mom like?" I asked

"Emma? She's cool. Look, come over here" He said pulling me to his window. We watched as Emma left the house and drive away

"Your not going to stop her leaving town?" I asked. Just then Henry pointed to the clock tower and I watched as a hand moved "No way" I said

"Things are changing! Plus, she can't leave" He said

"Ok, genius! Get to bed, it's late" I said leaving his room and turning the light off. He was a smart kid and he nearly had me believing! I just couldn't quite yet. I got changed and climbed into bed when my door suddenly opened

"What is this book I'm hearing about?" Regina asked

"Please, come in! Make yourself at home" I said sarcastically

"Tell me about this book!" She demanded

"What book? Does it have a name?" I asked trying to act oblivious

"Henry's book!" She said

"Doesn't ring a bell, but you can borrow one of mine from my big collection" I said gesturing over to the shelves where I put all my books

"Did you know where he was this evening? Going to find that woman?" She asked

"You mean his mom?" I asked loving how angry she was getting "I can't remember. Must have slipped my mind"

"Stop playing games and be honest with me!" She said

"Well in the spirit of being truthful, what's going on with you and Graham?" I asked

"I don't know what your talking about" She replied quickly

"I think you do" I said back

"He works for the town" She replied fast

"Ever lived in a castle?" I asked quietly and quickly

"What?" She asked

"Doesn't matter" I replied. I could see how shocked she was by the question not because it was strange but because she didn't think anyone would know about the curse!

That night I dreamt that I was in the enchanted forest. in my families castle with Emma and a much older Henry, and some random guy who apparently was my dad. It then changed to me being dragged through some kind of portal and being sent to this land.

I woke up in a cold sweat panicking. It was the middle of the night. I got up and went downstairs to make some hot coco.

"Hey, what are you doing up?" Regina asked coming into the kitchen while I waited for the kettle to boil.

"Sorry did I wake you?" I asked

"No... Look, I'm sorry about everything that happened today" She said sitting down on the stool at the island.
