𝟒.𝟖 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫

This was one of the many reasons Jules loved Kira with her entire heart. Kira knew the girl so well and always knew the right thing to say. Jules knew she could always come to her when she needed someone to talk to especially after the events that had taken place a few months prior.

"I don't think she wants you blaming yourself, yeah it might've been hard in the beginning but she overcame it because of you Scott. She admires you so much, you can see it in her eyes when she looks at you. She's proud to call you her brother. She may struggle with the full moon but she has us to help her along the way and that's all that matters." she says.

"What are we gonna do about Liam?" She asks him noticing his silence. "We're gonna help him." He answers. "What if he doesn't want our help?"

"He will."

It had been awhile and Jules had actually fallen asleep until she heard growling which woke her up. "I also just heard you growl" Jules could hear Kira saying. "That wasn't me." Scott says to her. Jules looks next to her to see that Liam had transformed, his eyes glowing yellow and his ears becoming pointy. He teeth portuding from his mouth and his claws growing from his finger tips.

She stands up and walks next to Scott and Kira. "Are those chains gonna hold him?" Kira asks them. "They should." Jules answers her. "Definitely. He can't be that strong." Scott adds.

Liam soon breaks from the chain and runs through the window breaking it and running out into the woods. The three of them stared out into the woods and turned to each other wondering what their next step was gonna be.

"We gotta go after him, Kira you go check on Lydia, Malia and Stiles. Scott and I will find Liam okay?" Jules tell her and she nods running back to the house. She then turns to Scott again to ask him "What are we gonna do when we find him?" He looks back at her quiet for a moment as he debates what to say to. "We help him...with everything we've got."

Scott and Jules ran side by side dodging every obstacle in their way. As a werewolf Liam was even faster than he was during lacrosse try outs. They eventually stopped by a tree but then Jules heard Liam growling and he ended up pushing both of Jules and Scott to the ground. He pinned Scott up against a tree and attempted to claw at him.

"What did you do to me?" Liam asks him as Scott tried to get him back to human form. "This is all your fault! This is your fault!" He was gonna scratch Scott until they heard a noise. The noise of an arrow being shot. It landed above them in the tree Scott was pinned up against and it exploded with this bright light that ended up disorienting Liam. He grabbed his ears and moaned in pain as he left the scene.

When Scott and Jules looked up they saw Chris walking towards them. Jules couldn't contain the smile on her face as she ran up to the man that was like a father figure to her and hugged him. He hugged her back so tight it was honestly hard to breathe.

He let her go and smiled at the girl before turning to Scott. "How did you know?" Scott asks him. "I got your text." Chris says helping him up and Scott smiles back at him.

"There's a clearing just North of here, all you have to do is corral him there. The rest is taken care of" Chris informs them. "What are you gonna do?" Scott asks him. "He's your beta Scott the better question is, what are you gonna do?"

"He won't listen to me or Jules." Scott informs him. "He will if you start using your own words." Chris says as they could still hear Liam screaming in pain so they ran towards that direction.

Liams screaming soon stops and he looks up at them, his face finally back to normal. "What's happening to me?" He asks them with tears in his eyes. "The same thing that happened to us." Scott answers him.

The siblings kneel down next to him and she notices Chris caught up to them. "They can't know about this." Liam tells them. "My mom, my Step-Dad...I can't do this to them again." He continues. "What do you mean again?" Scott asks him. "I got kicked out of school...and I deserved...the way they looked at me when they saw what I did to that car." Liam told them, his arms covering his face in shame. "Liam it's okay." Scott reassures him. "They can't see me like this, like...like-"

"Like a monster." Jules says continuing the sentence for him.

Scott stands up looking at him. "You're not a monster." Scott says. "You're a werewolf." He adds as his eyes along with Jules' eyes begin to glow.

"Like us."

It had felt like hours before Scott and Jules actually got home as Lydia wouldn't let them leave until they all helped her clean up the place. Kira ended up dropping off Liam and Scott ended up driving them back home on his motorcycle.

The two teens walked in silence to the front door of our house and Scott opened the door. Both of them noticing all the mail telling them about their overdue rent on the table.

Neither of them even bothered picking them up. They both knew how much their Mom struggled to keep up with the rent and their other needs, even though they never talked about it.

Jules looked up from the floor to Scott who was about to walk upstairs to his room. "I don't blame you." She says to him causing the boy to stop abruptly. "I heard the things you said to Kira at the boathouse and I wanted...I needed you to know that I don't blame you. For anything, anything at all." Noticing his silence she continued. "Scott I don't know what I would do if you weren't here with me, and everything Kira said was right. I don't want you blaming yourself I just...I didn't want to become a problem."

At this he finally turned around and walked closer to her with a look of determination on his face. "You could never be a problem to me. You wanna know why I blame myself Jules, it's because you're my little sister I'm supposed to be the one that protects you." He said to her as Jules looked back at the floor not being able to meet his eyes.

"We're supposed to protect each other."

Before Jules could say more he pulled her into a hug, resting his head on top of hers as she wrapped her arms around the taller boy. She knew he was crying due to the fact that his tears fell in the top of her head.

"I know we're supposed to protect each other, but I can't afford losing you and neither can Mom. " Jules could hear his voice breaking as he said that.

"You're never gonna lose me, not ever." She says looking up at him so she could wipe his tears. "You know you can always talk to me, I'm never gonna leave you behind." He says smiling down at her.

She smiled back at him pulling him closer to give him a tighter hug. "I promise if I ever have any more problems I'll come talk to you but my only problem right now is that if I don't get in my bed in the next five minutes I might just fall asleep in the floor right here right now." She says as he begins to laugh.

"How do you manage to turn a sentimental moment into a joke?" He asks the girl who began to yawn. "That's just one of my many charms Scotty, but seriously I need sleep or I really will drop dead on this floor." She says to him as they head up to their rooms.

"Goodnight JuJu."
