how am i expected to live with that stain?

i could throw out the carpet,
but that would be unfair,
because of how many nights

but i don't want it to ruin your

even though i probably shouldn't.

because your clothes still sit in my closet,

and your cheap perfume bottles in the corner
of my room smell to good to waste,

so i spray them on your old pillow that still
sits in the bed, on days i miss you the most.
