After class
Everyone started leaving the class except Lonnie and Jay. Carlos was the last to leave the class(excluding Jay and Lonnie), he ran out of the class and then bumped into someone at the door and they both fell down.
"Sorry" he said as he stood up and lended his hand,
"it's okay" Jane said as she took his hand smiling.
"Um why are you standing at the door?" Carlos asked after helping her get up,
"oh I was waiting for Lonnie so we can go get lunch together" Jane said as she withdrew her hands from carlos'.
"Oh but they could be there all lunch maybe that's their punishment shouldn't you go eat?" Carlos asked concerned
"well I always eat with Lonnie I hate eating alone" Jane replied.
"Well you can eat with me" Carlos blurted out like a child making Jane giggle a little,
"um sure I don't think Lonnie would mind" Jane said trying her best not to sound awkward.
They were walking down the hall in comfortable, "uh Jane can I ask you a question?"Carlos asked breaking the silence,
"uh sure" Jane said unsure of what he wanted to ask.
Carlos bit his bottom lip a little before asking "are you scared of us..................of me?" Carlos asked looking a little hurt.
"What of course not I mean for once in my life I met someone who doesn't intimidate me much) that's you Carlos" Jane said as she was smiling.
"Then why did you run past us in the goodness class and looked terrified?" Carlos asked without thinking.
"Oh that I'm incredibly shy and jumpy add that to walking in a room full of kids you don't know.....not a good combination" Jane said as she felt ashamed
"I don't get it why are you shy you are like the smartest kindest sweetest person I've ever known not to mention you are the headmistress daughter you should at the top in the school" Carlos said as he was making hand gestures making Jane laugh.
They finally made it to the cafeteria and stood in the line.
"So is this how lunch time is on the isle?" Jane asked then Carlos shook his head
"actually we aren't this organized on the isle only the strong gets to eat we basically kill to get food" Carlos said with no emotion Jane felt sad as she kept looking at Carlos he seemed like he didn't take it as a big deal.
"Okay just follow my lead" she grabbed a tray and he did too then she started taking a variety of food Carlos only looked at her suprised
"I thought in Auradon they don't steal" Carlos said as he kept staring at Jane
"oh, no see we are allowed to take whatever we want to eat from the buffet cause it's free" she explained as Carlos face lit up.
"So you mean I can take whatever I want from here?" Carlos asked unbelievably
"yeah go on knock yourself out. Jane said as Carlos started taking variety of food and lots of chocolate.
"Okay but not too much okay?" Jane said as Carlos was stuffing his tray with chocolate,
"okay" he said as he left with Jane.
Jane and Carlos sat at Jane and Lonnie's usual table as they ate their food in silence they were then joined by Evie.
"Hi there it's Jane right?" The bluenette spoke "my name's Evie"
Evie said as she sat with them.
"Yeah" Jane said she was comfortable with Evie.
She noticed the way Jane and Carlos kept stealing glanced at each other
"OMG I just had a brilliant idea Jane come with me" she said as she practically dragged a terrified Jane.
Carlos was alone until he was joined by Mal
"Hey dork" Mal greeted with her signature smirk "where's apples and lamp?" (Apples nickname for Evie, lamp nickname for Jay).
"Well Evie is in the bathroom and Jay is still in class cause he got in trouble"Carlos explained as Mal was laughing lightly.
"Wow why am I not surprised? Well this means I get 10bucks" Mal said as she was smirking
"you know he's just gonna steal it back from you right?" Carlos asked as he started laughing quietly.
"So what poor guy did Jay beat up this time and why?" Mal asked as she was eating her sandwich
"well actually it's the reverse"Carlos said
"what? You mean a guy beat up Jay whoa who is the guy?" Mal asked unbelievably.
"Well actually it's a girl her name is Lonnie and they didn't exactly fight she just broke his finger" Carlos explained as Mal was laughing uncontrollably
"wait so you are telling me that a girl got him in trouble hmmm wish I got to see his face I think I would like to meet this Lonnie chick" Mal said smirking as she and Carlos ate their food.
At the bathroom
"Okay so you like Carlos" Evie said excitedly "okay for someone who just literally met you she is super friendly" Jane thought as she looked at the excited bluenette.
"what no I mean we are barely even friends" Jane said blushing.
"What do you mean I saw you staring at him at the lunch table and I saw him stealing glances at you he likes you too" Evie said as she squealed.
"Okay look I guess I was just excited to have a guy friend who isn't one of my childhood friends okay............and that stuff you said about he liking me that's insane there's no way I mean do you even see me?" Jane said as she gestured herself.
"I don't get it what is it that you don't like about yourself?"Evie asked confused,
"well I don't know maybe the fact that I'm ugly a weirdo and a giant nerd I have no fashion sense" Jane said as she was cut off by Evie
"okay I'm going to stop you right there, Jane you are beautiful inside and out I mean you just showed Carlos kindness and here you are with me you don't just assume we are villians cause of our parents and that's really nice and cool of you." Evie said
"So you are smart and like to study that doesn't make you a nerd and you being a weirdo well let's face it everyone is a weirdo there's no such thing as normal and your hair and dress I think I have the thing for that" Evie said as she brought out a book with the cover written in block italics FASHION SPELLS "it should be right here aha beware for swear replace the old with brand new hair" Evie said as she snapped her fingers giving Jane a longer darker curly hair "wow you look more beautiful now.................let's see see what we can do about the dress"Evie said as she was examining Jane's dress
"okay I say we loose the steps and the puffed hands" Evie said as she flicking her fingers making the things disappear.
"And we make the gown knee length and long sleeve with a v-neck" Evie said as she snapped her fingers and then Jane's dress transformed.
"Wow is that me?" Jane said as she stared at the mirror Evie was right she is beautiful, "well I don't think that's a magic mirror so yeah it's you" Evie said smiling
"oh my Auradon Evie thank you so much" Jane said as she hugged Evie,
Evie hugged her back "now let's go knock the crowns out of all their heads" she said as she led Jane out of the bathroom admiring her work "men I'm good" Evie said smiling
I know I said Lonnie would meet Mal but there was a change of plans so next Lonnie meets Mal.
