Since that first video, Izuku made many more all the while surviving middle school. It got easier since he said he no longer wanted to go to UA to become a hero and instead go to a high school closer and more cheaper that will allow him to focus a little bit more on his video making since right now he has over 10,000 subscribers. Everyone teasing lessened even Bakugo although he mostly ignored him nowadays.

Through those ten months until the entrance exams, he made about two videos every week because he didn't really need to edit so far since all he did right now was talk about each hero he respected and how they came to be from their debut.

Today he was going to make a video about Mount Lady and how her debut kind of cut in the middle of Kamui Woods fighting. He was writing the outline in his notebook on his way home when he was passing by the park.

"Hey Brainwash! Are you really sure UA will take in someone with a villain's quirk? They would be idiots to think someone like you has any potential of being a hero." A voice said tauntingly.

Izuku stopped his tracks and turned toward the commotion. He saw a purple haired teen standing by a tree with a group people with the same school uniform came walking up to him. The purple haired teen looked ready to flee if necessary when they came closer. Izuku furrowed his brow and headed over to the teen in question with a smile on his face.

He automatically linked his arm together with his and whispered, "Hi, my names Izuku and I know this might be strange but I kind of want to help you get out of this situation since I deal with this stuff and I know it isn't pleasant. Do you want to run and head to a cafe near here so you can get away."

The purple haired kid stared blankly at him before widening his eyes slightly and nodding at him. "Sure."

They both ran to the nearest cafe with their arms linked together which made it sort of difficult considering the mystery teen had a wider stride than Izuku, but they made it work. The bullies didn't follow for that long since they didn't really want to run after a villain or whatever minion he has.

Izuku and the mystery teen walked into the cafe and sat down at a table. They both sat in silence for a bit. "So, this might have been the weirdest day I have ever been awake to see." The purple haired teen said with a monotone voice.

Izuku laughed awkwardly, "Yeah. I didn't really know what to do, so I just kind of grabbed you and ran. I didn't really know if I could have stood up against those guys. Oh! Sorry, I must be bothering you since I don't know if you have anything scheduled after this and oh my god I probably messed up what you had planned today and-,"

The purple teen interrupted, "No. It's fine I didn't have anything to do. I don't have any friends or anything to spend tine with since I want to get into UA to be a hero. So no distractions."

"Oh? You want to go to UA to be a hero? Cool that's great,...uhh. Umm, wait I don't think I got your name."

"Oh. Hitoshi Shinso. So Midoriya, do you really think a person with a villain's quirk can be a hero?" Shinso asked waiting for the answer he has been told all his life.

Izuku tilted his head, "There is no such thing as a villain quirk. It just depends on the person who decides whether they use it for good or for bad." Izuku responded before his mind went blank.

Shinso was a little stunned at his answer, but he gritted his teeth for his next test of his actually quirk. "My quirk is called Brainwashing. I can control people when they respond to me and tell them what to do. Do you still think I can become a hero?"

Izuku responded with hazed eyes, "Yes."

Shinso let go of his quirk out of surprise as Izuku blinked out of his state. "Wow, was that your quirk? That was so cool! You could make the villains turn themselves in and interrogate them by just talking! That is so amazing. I wonder if you can use it in different people. How long does it last? How-l

Shinso blushed under the sudden praise from a literal stranger he only met a few minutes ago. "Uhh, Midoriya.." Is this what he normally acts like? Never mind that, he is the first one to actually believe in me.

"Oh sorry I tend to ramble Hitoshi-kun," Izuku responded with a slight blush on his face out of embarrassment.

"Oh, uhh no problem." Shinso said. "So, why exactly did you swoop in before the other guys got to me?"

"Well, I always wanted to be a hero, but while I can't exactly be a pro hero, I still try to save people who need it. I get bullied a lot too, so I kind of want to be the hero who stands up for others and helps them smile again." Izuku said with a sad smile as he looked down at the table not exactly facing Hitoshi.

That's a load of bull, why can't he become a hero?, Shinso thought to himself "Well, you seem pretty heroic to me. It shouldn't matter what your quirk is." Shinso said looking at Midoriya.

Izuku looked at him and said, "I'm quirkless. And for the longest time, I still wanted to be a hero, before just realizing that I don't need to be a pro hero, but maybe more of a small town hero that saves a cat from a tree."

Shinso perked up a the word quirkless. It is known that quirkless only makes up 20 percent of the population, and that they are discriminated against because of their lack of quirk. So, he is kind of like me. Bullied for wanting to do something you dream of, but being discriminated against because of not having a certain quirk or in this case lack of. Shinso thought.

Izuku took his silence as a preparation of rejection. He smiled sadly as he started to slide over to the end of the booth, "Umm, I realize you might see me differently now, so I can get out of your hair now of-."

Shinso eyes widened, "No, no! I just didn't expect it, it doesn't mean I don't accept you. I've been discriminated against for having a villain quirk, and I am not about to be picky about having a friend who understands where I am coming from."

Izuku paused, "You considered me a friend?"

Shinso blushed, "Yeah. I mean if that's okay with you..."

Izuku smiled happily while forming tears in his eyes. "Yes! That is totally okay with me! Umm umm,, here let's exchange numbers to keep in touch!"

Shinso smiled softly and exchanged numbers with Izuku before finally deciding to get something to drink to go while they were still at the cafe. Izuku got some green tea and Shinso got some coffee in to go cups.

They walked and chatted about hero favorite heroes and hobbies while they drank from their cups.

"Eraser head is your favorite hero?!" Izuku asked.

"Wait, you know who Eraserhead is?" Shinso asked surprised

"Of course I do! He is such an amazing underground hero! But there is little to no stuff about him, so it makes videos with him so rare and awesome to find." Izuku said before continuing to ramble about how underground heroes.

Before long they both arrived at Izuku's house.

"So, I will see you soon, is tomorrow okay?" Izuku asked carefully.

"Sure. Same time, same place?" Shinso asked with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah!" Izuku said smiling bright. Before thinking about it, he hugged Shinso tight which he automatically thought was a bad idea before Shinso scoffed and lightly hugged back.

Shinso walked off with a hand raised in a wave, "I'll text you! Goodnight!"

"Oh. Goodnight!" Izuku called back before rushing inside his house. "Hi mom! Guess what. I made a friend!"

"And that about wraps up my short video about the new hero Mount Lady. Until next time! Have no fear, and be your own hero!" Izuku ended the recording there before hopping on to edit some pictures into the video.

He did some normal editing to help cut the random pauses that he took while speaking and posted it titled "Mount Lady's Startling Debut!"

Izuku had one of the best days today since he actually made a friend that was genuinely a good friend and not a bully. He smiled as he thought about the life he had in front of him.

He doesn't know where it will lead him to, but he knows he will be happy.
