BITE ME! (A Legoshi x Louis story)

To the Neon District pt 1

Legoshi POV

The Lion began going after my neck with his jaws, I tried to overpower him as hard as I could.

He threw a punch at me but I caught it with my arm.  He pushed me back onto the couch but I managed to dodge his punch. 

I threw my fist at him but he bit into my arm instead and sharp pain pierced my skin.

The Lion shoved me down and bit down harder.

Louis told me, I'll never understand how it feels as if your always close to dying.

And he's right.

As long as I'm a carnivore there's no way I'll ever understand that feeling.

Louis: Legoshi!

I looked over at Louis who was still sitting on the ground, tears finally falling down his face.

Legoshi: Louis! Hurry, run away! Go on!

Louis: I can't! I can't do that!

I kneed the Lion under his jaw so he let go and rolled away in pain. 

I kneeled in front of Louis protectively facing the Lion.

The Lion got up.

Chief the Lion: Well this isn't going anywhere, how about we end this battle right now?

Legoshi: Yeah, lets end it

I lick some of the blood off my wounded arm and stood up.

I'm beginning to finally understand now, the reason why I was born a wolf....

I looked back at Louis.

Legoshi: This could be something you may not want to watch.  I'm sorry, Louis

There's nothing to fear

These claws are for you...

These fangs are for you...

I will be your beast...

I punched onto the Lion whilst he was standing and not into his neck. 

And this time, my instincts didn't give him.

I ripped open his neck until he stopped moving.

Louis looked at me with flattened ears, and tears in his eyes threatening to fall once again.

Do I look like the devil to you?

Legoshi: Don't worry Louis, it's alright now

I get up shifting my feet as I walk up to Louis.  I extending my hand to him.

Legoshi: Will you come away with me?

Louis: Legoshi...

Louis was still shaken, his ears still flattened.

You'll be the one, to tame this grey wolf.

Louis slowly but cautiously reaches for my hand.

Louis: Your shaking...

He finally grabs my hand.  I pull him close to me and embrace him.

Legoshi: I'm glad, I'm so glad...

I feel Louis return the hug as I start to lose consciousness.

Louis: L-Legoshi!

Before I knew I had fallen onto him.

I did all this because I wanted you to forgive me.  For being born a carnivore. 

For...falling in love with you

I was eventually woken up and Louis slowly led me outside. 

He kept me balanced as we left since I was so exhausted after that fight.

Louis: Did you do all of this?

I looked and saw all of the Shishigumi members tied up and unconscious.

Legoshi: Of course not, I had a little help from an old panda guy that I met

We continued our way and finally escaped Shishigumi.

I woke up to see Louis sitting on the bench next to mine.  I realized I had fallen asleep when Louis looked at me with a suprised expression.

Louis: Legoshi?

Legoshi: Yeah?

Louis: Okay good, you weren't moving at all so I thought that you were dead!

I slowly got up since I was still physically exhausted.

Legoshi: I'm still alive

Louis: I'm...I'm really sorry, you did all this for me. It's my fault

Louis started to tear up again.

Legoshi: Louis, it's okay. I just-

Louis: Don't you get? You risked your life for me!

Legoshi: I really...need something to eat

Waiter: Here ya go! Fried noodles with an egg, sunny side up!

We had gotten to a small outdoor diner to get food.

Legoshi: Thanks, Louis dig in

Waiter: You look in pretty bad shape their, your the one who should dig in

I sighed and grabbed some chopsticks and got to eating and Louis smiled.

Louis: Your actually pretty organized for a 17 year old. I mean, you actually hide emergency funds in your shoe

Legoshi: Yeah, when I was still little, my grandpa said to do that

Louis: So you were grandpa's boy?

Legoshi: It was just one of those memories from childhood you know. You have any of those?

Louis POV

Nope, never.

But he and I, our lives are somehow intertwining.

First he risks his life to save me

And now he's scarfing down cheap noodles in front of me.

Honestly what's shocking me is that I know he didn't just come and get me because, "I run the school" or "I will be the next Beastar." He saved me because he just wanted ME back.

This sight of him just obliviously eating is sure to be one of the my most treasured moments of my life.

I snap my chopsticks apart.

That's why, I want to keep it as a beautiful memory.

Louis: When we're finished, lets take the train back

Legoshi: Okay

Waiter: What? The last trains left already

Well isn't that simply wonderful...

Louis: So Uh, how much money do you have?

Legoshi: Um, about 4,500 yen, what about you?

Louis: I used to have plenty but the lions stole it all...

I guess I won't get away with this that easily. I blushed at the very thought of it.

Legoshi: Louis? Should we look for a place to stay?

Summer nights last forever
