1) When someone's sad, he hugs or cuddles with them so they don't feel alone because he's been told that his hugs are warm and comforting; he feels like he's not useful in battle, so does this to make up for it
2) He doesn't have anything in his room because when he was younger, he'd have nightmares and lash out in his sleep, destroying everything that was near him
3) When he was younger, a girl screamed from seeing his uncovered face so now he always wears a mask
