1) He truly sees 1A as his own kids so whenever they get injured/attacked on a class trip, he blames himself
2) He doesn't want to get attached to his students because he doesn't want to suffer the guilt if they die
3) He has PTSD from USJ, so he sleeps in the classroom to keep himself energized and ready to fight the LOV in the case of an attack
4) Deku always has panic attacks at night because of all the stuff that happens to him and that's why Aizawa's always tired; he helps Deku
5) He expels so many of his students because he knows they'd die as heroes and it's his way of saving them
6) When the 1-A graduates, he's going to resign because he feels like he's sending them off to their deaths and is no longer worthy of being a teacher
