1) He puts his thumbs up when he short circuits because when he first got his quirk, his mom taught him to do that to let her know he was okay

4) He doesn't have the courage to confess his feelings to Jirou because she's always making fun of him in his "yay" state, and he assumes that she doesn't like him back because of it
