Chapter 2 - Freedom

Start from the beginning

"Let's go this way."

"But we've been there already---"

"I forgot to take a picture of some paintings."

"MADAM!" I heard Camille shout. Oh gosh.

Binilisan ko pa lalo ang paglalakad.

"Are you in a hurry?" He asked while laughing at me.

Let's go to our second destination. Ikaw ang mag-decide kung saan tayo pupunta."

He smirked. "I guess you're challenging me, huh?"

"Parang gano'n na nga. Just don't make me regret this, okay?"

"You won't, I promise. This will be a day you'll never forget"

She argued with them as she struggled to speak in English.

"Hala. Anong meron?

It's one of the rules. And she's being hysterical."

I bit my lower lip as I saw her cry. She's even looking at me, asking for help.

It took a lot on me not to walk towards her, and explain to the guards that this was all just a misunderstanding. Given my power and wealth, it'll be easy for me to sort this out.

But I stood still and watched her like a mute. I knew that this was my only chance to get rid of her and everything that was keeping me from being free.

I turned my back on a friend that I've always trusted. I'm sorry for betraying you, Camille.

Then I smiled at David and pretended as if nothing was wrong. Now, I can be whoever I want.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong ko sa kanya.

He smiled and handed out his hand. "Can't you trust me?"

Should I trust him? I don't know...

Should I go with a stranger in a foreign country? Definitely not.

But today, I chose to be stupid.

I'll risk my life just to get a glimpse of what it feels like to not have boundaries.

If I end up being dead, at least I get to experience pure happiness.

"I trust you." I held his hand and grinned.
