I took Eleanora until a week before Christmas to get off of bedrest. By then, she was dying for any view that wasn't her bedroom wall. Her leg was mostly healed, but still felt odd to walk on as Bill helped her down the stairs to the kitchen.

"You okay?" he asked for the hundredth time.

"I'm fine, William. You really don't have to help me." Eleanora jogged down two steps just for good measure, but winced in pain and had to lean against the railing for a second to regain her balance.

"Very smooth," Bill said sarcastically. "You know, you'll be so much help to the Order with a permanently injured leg."

"It's not permanent," Eleanora said, pushing his shoulder lightly. "And it really doesn't hurt too badly anymore. I'm fine, honestly."

"Mhmm." Bill was unconvinced, but he let her get the rest of the way down the stairs with no help.

The last few weeks had been hell for Eleanora, who hated taking help from anyone. When they made it to the hallway, Bill reached down and took her hand. He loved that the rest of the Order knew about them now, so they didn't have to hide anything anymore. Neither of them were big on PDA anyways, but it felt nice to have the option. Eleanora wrapped her fingers around his hand and squeezed lightly.

"Nice to see you up," Sirius said, leaning against the counter. He held up his mug of coffee. "Want some?"

"I'll get it, thanks." Eleanora stood on tiptoe to grab two mugs out of the cabinet. She poured coffee in both of them, adding cream and sugar to one and just sugar to the other.

"Thanks," Bill said, grabbing the mug with just sugar. "Where's Daisy?" he asked Sirius.

"Dining room. Kingsley just showed up and she's got about a million questions for him. The girl's insane, El, I hope you know that."

"Oh I know," Eleanora said, smiling lightly at the thought of her ten year old sister firing questions at the fully trained Aurors in the Order. "She's going to be a great witch, though."

"Got that right," said Bill. "She already told me she wants to be an Auror someday."

"She'll be the best one out there," Sirius said, lifting his cup in the air. "Anyways, we should get over to the meeting. Moody gets all upset every time I'm late 'cause it's my house and I should be 'setting a better example.'"

"For who?" Eleanora said, laughing and following Sirius and Bill to the dining room, where the rest of the Order was already sitting.

"Glad to have you back, Marks," Moody said, giving her an approving nod.

"Glad to be back." Eleanora took a seat between Bill and Tonks and pulled her good leg up to her chest, resting her chin on her knee. After a few more minutes, Moody started the meeting. Eleanora was so happy to finally be back in the Order, finally be doing something important, her heart filled with joy at the simplest orders of business.
