I woke up today thrilled that I wasn't walking into that bookstore

I rolled over to check my phone and saw a text from Von saying to come downstairs when I wake up

I went into the guest bathroom here and there were toothbrush/toothpaste kits, Listerine, the softest face towels, literally everything I needed to get myself together

I finished all of my personal hygiene, put my hair into a loose bun, and threw on one of the hoodies I found in the closet because it was freezing...I'm sure Durk wouldn't mind

When I got downstairs I saw an array of food...I mean any breakfast item you could think of

"Morning" I heard Durk say as he walked past me into the kitchen

"Morning..." I replied still standing there

"You gonna come eat?" Von asked as he was stuffing food in his mouth

"Uh yeah...." I responded grabbing a plate

I fixed a small plate and sat down at the table with them

"How did you sleep?" Durk asked

"Perfect" I responded

"I heard you snoring all the way down the hall" Von laughed

I hit him in the arm and continued to eat my food

We sat in silence, eating and just on our phones

Then Durk suddenly said "Aye so we releasin Crazy Story this upcoming Friday, the label is planning a listening party and you can perform it"

"Ion know about all that now" Von replied

"Why not?" I asked

"Not really a stage kind of guy" Von replied

"Oh my gosh Von you literally were made for this, nothing to be worried about" I reassured him

"Maybe if you come he won't be as nervous" Durk chimed in

"Nah Aurora won't help, shit, probably make it worse" Von laughed getting up to throw his plate away

Durk turned towards me and said "So I'll need your number to send you the address"

"Hmmm clever way of asking for my number" I laughed

"Mhm, just put the damn number in the phone" he responded handing it to me and getting up to throw his plate away

As I was putting it in I saw a text pop up from someone whose name was just a red heart and it said 'Bae I miss you, when are you coming back😢'

I don't know why but this made me feel some type of way. I finished putting my number in and handed his phone back to him.

I immediately went back upstairs to get the rest of my stuff so I could just go home or carry on with my day however I please.
