We pull apart and I see Jaemin and Donghyuck slowly approaching us. Jaemin was rubbing his arm up and down while Donghyuck scratched behind his head.
"If, if anyone, we're glad you ended up with Jeno." Jaemin stammers, giving a small smile.
"Yeah, I'm glad you've finally picked someone. We turned into bad people, and even worse friends when you were around." Hyuck admits. He glances at me, wondering why I'm not responding, than quickly realizes his bad wording. "Because we'd fight over you."
"Thanks?" I reply, as Jeno laughs in the background.
"Well would you look at this? I've got Yunhee, Mi-sun has Jeno, and Jaemin and Hyuck have each other, we're all happy!" Renjun smiles, walking up with Yunhee hugging around his arm.
Hyuck and Jaemin look at each and cringe, but shortly laugh it off.
"Looks like it was a happy ending after all." I say as Jeno hugs me close, looking deeply into my eyes.
"Well.. now what?" Jaemin ask and Hyuck shrugs.
"Now? We run into the sunset that's what!" Yunhee beams. She grabs Renjun's hand and pulls him along as she runs forward. Hyuck and Jaemin quickly follow, me and Jeno behind them.
As we get further, Jeno stops and pulls me aside.
"Thanks." He says.
"For what?"
"For choosing me."
"Oh Jeno, there were no other options. It was always you."
Jeno smiles and slowly pulls me closer to him.
I close my eyes as the gap between us disappears.
