•Chapter•4•Tests•Of •Tests

The creature jumped out of the window escaping with the women in hand.

The man on the floor reached out to the window. Leorio set me down beside him and started checking the mans wounds

"Please help. Save her! You have to save my wife" He pleaded. I-I can't do anything about this, I'm not good in medicine and i'm also injured. Is there nothing I could do?

"Leorio, Y/n see to his injuries!" Kurapika dropped his bag jumping out the window, Gon joined him as well. "Right! I'm on it!" Leorio answers.

Leorio examined his wounds and brought out a needle. Needles. Never liked em. "I-Is there something I could do?" I sit up

I look over his wounds. "They don't look too deep...perhaps I could find some herbs to put over the wound.." I say

"Don't worry sir. My friends will get your wife back safe and sound" I smile

(Turmeric is a type of herb to help with wounds. This type would just help wounds heal faster)

"If I had some Turmeric..." I mutter. I stand up "Hey Leorio, I'll go outside to find some Turmeric.."

He grabs my arm and shook his head

"No." He smiled. Why is he smiling? "W-what's wrong?" I ask

"He's faking. This whole thing is a fake!" He chuckled "H U H?" I look at the man on the floor. "If this is all fake then, either IM STUPID OR JUST STUPID" I yell

Leorio chuckled. He ruffled my hair "It's fine kid. This perhaps isn't your greatest skill"

"You didn't know either!" I point out

"How many years has it been since anyone was able to tell us two apart?" Kiriko 1 chuckled "I'm so happy." Kiriko 2 cheered

Leoiro still continued to give me a piggy back. Like i'm okay now. I sigh. "Can you tell 'em apart? Seriously." Leorio leaned back whispering. That sent chills down my spine

"Uh. No" I answer

"Dont you see? The Kiriko that Kurapika and I hit is actually the husband" Gon pointed out

"And which one is that exactly?" Me, Leorio and kurapika unison

A Kiriko stood up "Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the Navigators."

"Navigators?..."I mumble
They continue "Our family provides support for the Hunter Exam."
"-I'm their daughter." A boy with blue hair spoke
"-I'm their son." A girl with purple hair smiled.

"Man. Great job. You sure had us fooled" Leorio congratulated. "The Exam site moves around. Keeps it interesting. But that's what exactly why they relocate it every year. Understand?" A kiriko explained

"They hire Navigators like us to help by guiding worthy applicants to the examination site." Another spoke

"I still don't know which one's which" I pout

"Oh, so that how it works?"

The girl opened up "But don't get the wrong idea. We don't help every candidate." She waved. "First, we test them to see if they're even qualified to take the Exam. Make sure they have what it takes." The son explained
"Mr.Kurapika?" The girl spoke to Kurapika

"Yes?"

"We made certain that we only gave you the most vague of hints but you were still able to pick up on them and determine that we weren't actually a married couple."

She brought up her arm showing tattoos "You only caught a glimpse of my tattoos. But you knew in this region these tattoos are only worn by women who've taken a vow of chastity. Mr.Kurapika demonstrated that's he's incredibly knowledgeable."

"Therefore, he passes."
Kurapika sighed in relief

"-Way to go, Kurapika." Gon congratulated him. I smile and nod at him

"Mr.Leorio, Hoshi. You two unfortunately never realized that I wasn't who I claimed to be." The son spoke. I gulp

"However, you dressed my wounds faster and more thoroughly than any doctor. More importantly, you demonstrated admirable empathy and kindness, by continuing to reassure me that my wife would be okay."

Everyone smiled and chuckled. I move my head and hide my smile. "Knock it off, Okay? it's embarrassing.." Leorio looked away

"Its clear to me that your compassion makes you worthy of taking the Hunter Exam. And so, You and Miss.Hoshi pass." The son smiled

"Really!?" I look at him. "Wait seriously?" Leorio sighed in relief. He put me down before sitting down him self

"You did it!" Gon smiled

"And finally, Mr.Gon."

"-Yes?"

"Your superhuman physical ability and your powers of observation defy logic. You, Too, are worthy to take the Hunter Exam. So, you pass."

I smile. We all did it...

"Alright! We'll now take you straight to the site of the Exam!" Kiriko 1 said. We had to hold their legs, I wouldn't have guessed they would fly us over..

"Oh, Wow! Isn't it incredible that we all passed?" Gon cheered

"I wouldn't celebrate just yet. We merely earned the right to take the Exam." Kurapika sighed

"It's progress! I say that calls for a little celebration!" Leorio chuckled "Honestly, have some foresight." Kurapika sighed again

He started swinging his legs at kurapika "Do you have to suck a smart add all the time—Atgh!"

"Wha- Leorio!" I shout

"Hey, stop squirming! If you fall, it's your own fault." Kiriko growled

I laugh. Is he that much of an idiot?
