Mirae quickly shut her phone off, rushing to open her textbook, making it seem as if she was genuinely studying.
Every now and then she would sneak glances to admire the boy, who was laughing with his friends, not studying, and getting told off by the librarian for being too loud.
The only reason she ruined her sleep to wake up this early, was to see him. I mean, they did share a few classes, but in most of them she sat in front of him, making it hard to look at him.
Don't get me wrong, she's not a crazy stalker fan thing or whatever you want to call it, it's just that, once you lay your eyes on something as crazily beautiful as him, it's really hard to look away.
It's like you're put in a trance, dreaming in a never-ending sleep. And- I'll stop now.
Right, so where were we?
The girl decided to actually get some work done, and started off with algebra.
But one look at the complicated formulas scattered all over the books in front of her, made her heavily sigh, and bury her head in her arms.
She stayed like that for a good while, and when she lifted her head, she made eye contact with someone.
And oh, would you look at that. It's the boy she's secretly been admiring.
They held contact for a hot second, Mirae's cheeks flushing red, as she was the first to look away.
The boy lightly chucked to himself, before also looking away, and paying attention to what his friends were blabbering on about.
Mirae squeezed her eyes shut, not being able to process the previous moment.
She fanned herself with her hands, trying to calm herself down.
Honestly, she didn't know why she was acting like this, but for the rest of the day, a small smile stayed on her lips.
